Le Manoir De Bezolle

Em va agradar We had the best 8 day's at manoir de Bezolle. The campsite, being quite rural with amazing views, had everything you would need, clean sanitaires, and lots of them, with laundry facilities also. Games room, petanque and hula courts, with trampoline and playground. A bar, a restaurant, music once a week, and an amazing two swimming pools that were deliciously cool in this hot weather.
A bus stop that takes you to the local town and chateaux ruins down the hill.
What can I say Dominique and Bruno were delightful and Bruno even played in the band at the end of music night. Oh and you get to choose your own pitch. Fabulous week, we will be back. Thank you for a lovely week 🌹

Em va agradar Generous pitch sizes, a swimming pool and bar/ restaurant on site, and is quite picturesque. I enjoyed watching the red squirrels darting around in the mornings, and the small collection of farmyard animals were pleasant to visit, especially the friendly donkey. Very pretty sunsets to be seen from the highest corner of the site

No em va agradar Was greeted shortly after arrival, (after doing a little looking around for someone as the main reception was closed) and was told to find a pitch and then come back to reception to sort out remaining payment, site rules etc. the usual. Reception was closed however, and we couldn't find anyone again for a few hours after arrival despite looking, when we did we were made to feel a little guilty for booking through pitchup instead of directly (wouldn't have found the site if we hadn't used pitchup!) Otherwise polite and informative.

The site is pretty, but definitely in need of some refurbishment, which the bar/ restaurant appeared to be undergoing, rendering it out of use for our stay which wasn't mentioned prior to booking. The main pool was advertised as being open till the 15th September (we arrived on the 5th) but was drained and looking a little depressing, however a smaller pool was available, although I'm not sure how we were supposed to get to it as it looked like the whole area was closed off.

The site has things to do such as mini-golf, but the courses looked like they hadn't been used in years and was overgrown. This was kind of the vibe for the entire site. walkways were overgrown and tiles/ etc were left about the place (particularly nearer the restaurant area). The whole place just felt a little run-down. I got the vibe that it had been closed completely for the season and we had just pitched up while it was undergoing renovation, despite the fact that nothing really seemed to be happening.

communal bathroom was clean, not TOO dated and functional, but nothing to write home about, as seems to be indicative of the site overall, the main outside door wouldn't shut fully.

There is a local town/ supermarket not too far away, but that's about it. The whole area is a bit of a dead-zone.

I wasn't massively impressed by the facilities or location of the site, but as a stopover for a couple of nights, it was fine. It certainly could be beautiful, but it needs a lot of investment to make it look a little less run-down.

No em va agradar We arrived on the 18th August after 10 hours drive, we checked in and got told to find are own pitch. We found a pitch and started setting up, a French woman came over to say we couldn’t go there as it’s still her pitch. The pitch numbers were not clear. After going to the French owner to resolve this problem we found that being English was a problem and found they did not treat us in a nice manor and were rude.
We had 2 11 year olds and told them to go use the pool while we move the caravan, they came back within minutes to say the pool was green, it was lime green 😳 the owner said nothing was wrong with the pool however I have never seen anything that bad.
If you are English do not book this site in my opinion they do not like us and make it difficult to stay there.

Em va agradar Washing facilties were excellent. Owners were very helpful and hospitable.
Onsite facilities to keep kids active during the day were varied - obviously the 2 pools but also ping ping, badminton, mini golf. Plus the reception has a stack of board games to kill a few hours as we unfortunately had 3 days of our 9-day stay with torrential rain.
Sunsets and dark skies were fantastic.
If you're into nature and being "Perdu dans la nature" then the location will also appeal. It felt very tucked away from civilisation.

No em va agradar Unfortunately there was no evening entertainment during our stay which our kids were hoping for.

No em va agradar The facilities were so dirty, the build up of bacteria was the worst we’d ever seen in the showers. The toilets were smelly and dirty especially on a morning. The pool was a bright green colour and we decided not to swim.

Del gerent: Nous sommes particulièrement attentifs à votre commentaire et nous vous en remercions. Nous regrettons que vous ne soyez pas venus nous en parler directement. Les sanitaires sont nettoyés au quotidien, absolument chaque matin, puis nous repassons en cours de journée si besoin. Nous accueillons actuellement énormément de campeurs et nous répondons immédiatement lorsqu'un désordre nous est signalé.
Quant à la piscine, les fortes chaleurs et les orages influent sur l'aspect de l'eau, mais aucunement sur sa qualité bactériologique. Les analyses quotidiennes en sont garantes.
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que vous ne reteniez que ces 2 aspects de votre séjour qui ne représentent pas du tout notre site, et vous invitons à réitérer votre visite pour une découverte positive de notre camping.

Em va agradar De ruime plek. De camping beschikt over een behoorlijk nieuw toiletgebouw. Het zwembad was fijn.

No em va agradar Er was een toiletgebouw gesloten waardoor het behoorlijk druk was bij het enige andere toiletgebouw. Bij aankomst ging er op zijn Frans aan toe, beetje rommelig, niet zo efficiënt.
