Afegiu les dades de la vostra empresaWhen it’s time to escape to Normandy, do it in style and book yourselves in at La Ferme des Épis. Here you can glamp it up in luxurious accommodation on a leafy farm outside the rural village of Ouffières in hilly Suisse Normande.
This may be a peaceful place, but there’s certainly bags for everyone to do; grown-ups can take time out in the wellness area with a Jacuzzi and infrared sauna, and families can play the Escape Game, follow treasure hunts together and join in creative workshops.
Activities-wise, there’s an inflatable play area (in summer) for junior guests, as well as table football and ping pong. You can all have a go at basketball and football on the playing field or indulge in a bit of family competition at pétanque or badminton.
The site owners also organise themed events throughout the year, and campfire aperitif evenings every Tuesday in July and August. Not quite enough to keep everyone happy? There are horses, cats, rabbits, ducks and free-range chicks to interact with as well.
Foodie concerns are covered here too; there’s a shop on site selling Normandy beers, wines and snacks, and as long as you order ahead of time, breakfast and meal baskets can be delivered right to the door of your accommodation.

Llocs d'interès
So much to do on site; so much to do in the local area. Animal-loving kids can take walks with husky teams at Will To Go Park (20 minutes’ drive), or cuddle baby llamas at Cria de Timra (15 minutes). If you’ve got younger children who are nervous of animals, take them to Chez Seraphin (25 minutes) to be reassured by the gentle donkeys and ponies.
The hilly landscapes of Norman Switzerland have much to appeal to active families; locally you can go canoeing or kayaking on the River Orne, try out the Clécy Via Ferrata rock-climbing course (25 minutes) and go whizzing down hills at Clécy Tubing (20 minutes). That all a bit too adventurous? Hike way-marked paths through the Forêt de Grimbosq (15 minutes), keeping an eye out for fallow deer as you walk.
Further afield, you can check out a very famous tapestry in Bayeux (40 minutes), take family picnics to Deauville Beach and enjoy delicious seafood in the harbourside bistros of Honfleur (both about an hour).
