An effortless mix of sci-fi fun, arcadian bliss and boutique hotel luxe... At the uniquely romantic Away from it All glampsite on Wales’s Lleyn Peninsula, you can cosy up in a futuristic dome equipped with a comfy double bed, rustic wooden furniture and fluffy animal skin rugs, with an uninterrupted view of glorious green hills. Expect pristine white bedlinen and handmade Welsh blankets, a wood-burning stove perfect for toasting toes and marshmallows, plus thoughtful touches such as a wind-up radio. Outside, you’ll find a deck for sunbathing, stargazing and outdoor dining (rustle something up over your firepit - a hamper of gourmet goodies will be waiting for you on arrival, carefully selected to showcase the best in local produce). The loo and modern showers are just a short walk away, along with a small kitchen in case the weather is too bad for barbies. The site’s name says it all: you really are away from it all on this secluded farm, and the only sounds you’ll hear are birdsong, the neighbouring flock of sheep and the babbling of the stream. What’s more, you can collect delicious fresh eggs for breakfast from the obliging ladies in the chicken run, and feed the piggies while you’re at it, if you like (everyone will be squealing with excitement). And apparently the owners are lovely, too. Race you there!

From Pwllheli Continue alond the A499 through the village of Y Ffor towards Caernarfon, turn left towards Llwyndyrys, this is the first left after Y Ffor. Finally... Continue along the country lane for 2 miles, passing a chapel and turning right over a small bridge before you arive at the Farm. Post Code: LL536NG. If you get lost then call us.

Away from it All is on the Lleyn Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with sweeping sandy beaches, dramatic cliffscapes and picturesque river estuaries, adjacent to the Snowdonia National Park. Naturally, it’s a location that’s favoured by fans of outdoor pursuits, particularly walking, cycling, fishing and water sports, but there’s more to the area than the spectacular scenery. Get steamy on one of the heritage railway lines that traverse the mountains and valleys, or take your pick of a great range of tourist attractions, including the intriguing Italianate village of Portmeirion and the World Heritage Sites of Caernarfon Castle and Conwy. You could go underground into caves or copper mines, try a treetop adventure at one of the forest adventure parks nearby, or even test your mettle with some white water rafting...
