Em va agradar: Gorgeous location and friendly staff, we enjoyed the fish and chips at the pub, the compost toilet was a nice eco element to our stay, and of course, the Alpacas!!

Em va agradar: Such a tranquil spot love the Alpacas stayed in Willow in the Alpaca field so cosy and comfortable great food in the pub our second visit will definitely be back.

Em va agradar: We stayed in the Oak bell tent in the alpaca field which was great! The alpacas were friendly and very cute and thankfully weren't interested in our food. The facilities were great and Caroline and Richard made us feel very welcome. The pub had lots of lovely features with a good selection of food and drinks and board games! The location was great as it was very quiet and tranquil, and only a 20 minute drive to Bala. Overall a really lovely stay! Just a heads up, as the river runs through the campsite, there are midges around for those who are adverse to their nibbles.

Em va agradar: We have been coming to the crown for 3 years now, we come multiple times a year, we absolutely love this site, the owners Rich and Caz are very welcoming and friendly they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and enjoyable, the food in the pub is outstanding… especially the warm Belgium waffle dessert. Em va agradar: Wow, what a lovely place this was! Great little (almost off grid) site with a cute little pub, nice food and drinks and a great atmosphere. Child friendly and the pool table kept our older child entertained, he even made some little friends. We stayed in the Ash bell tent in the alpaca paddock - highly recommend. Our 6 and 3 year old loved it so much and really enjoyed interacting with the gorgeous alpacas, as did we! The tent was spacious and the beds were made up ready which was ideal given that we stayed with young children as it saved a lot of messing about. Can't fault the location - felt like a real adventure and was so peaceful in the most perfect surroundings. The river was perfect for paddling in and in the warmer months great for a swim. Lots of beautiful woodland and far enough from busy roads so was quiet and peaceful. Our son described the site as "paradise". The staff were really lovely and made our stay extra special. Great hospitality and really friendly. They told us about the alpacas, other local wildlife and always made a fuss of the kids which they enjoyed. We've already booked to stay again as we loved it so much! Thank you for a fantastic little break away!

No em va agradar: Compost toilet didn't really bother me and the kids and I loved reading about the reasons why it's more eco friendly but my husband wasn't keen!

Em va agradar: The serenity of the area. Next to the river. No music rule was good. Gave us time to sitback and relax. Alpacas were great, just get to go at feeding time.

No em va agradar: Take your own toilet. Remember, there are young boys who cant aim straight. You have been warned.

Del gerent: This is a real shame as we pride ourselves on maintaining our facilities to a high standard. We have an hourly rota on the toilets to ensure they are nice and clean but obviously this is not a fool proof system and we do require our guests to share any concerns with us immediately. Please be reassured, we would have 100% acted upon any information given if there was a problem with either sets of toilets. We are sorry this impacted on your stay.

Em va agradar: A beautiful spot next to the river, the pub has great beer and food, the compost toilets were really clean (and don’t smell), our cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely return.

Em va agradar: Just came back from spending the bank holiday weekend with my partner and friends- we all had the most amazing, peaceful time away. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and accommodating. We will all definitely be back!

Em va agradar: What a beautiful spot this is: great welcoming owners, alpacas up close and personal, river just by the side of you, great location and even had pizza delivered to our tent. The pub being there was a cheeky bonus too, the price of the pint made me happy! Will be coming here again! Amazing price

No em va agradar: Not a dislike more of a warning that we had the woodland pitch which is gorgeous but is small, a bit of a walk from your car and toilets. But I’d be staying again as this is not off putting.
