Anglers, hikers, pub goers and horse riders… settle serenely down at this site for all of what you seek, in a peaceful position in the Powys countryside. Spring Rock Holidays is set near the Llandegley Rocks, with several public rights of way starting right from it including a spectacular waterfall walk and forest hikes. It has its own pleasure fishery for anglers of all abilities, made up of a 15-foot lake with mirror, common, ghost and koi carp up to 25lbs; river fishing on the Ithon and fly fishing are both available nearby too. Several sports and leisure centres with swimming pools are in in the area too, along with a riding centre and pony trekking, 4x4 drives and kayaking along the Wye. And whatever flavour of break you go for, you'll likely like a stroll to the Severn Arms within walking distance of the site, which serves real ales, pub grub and takeaway (please note there's a short roadside section on the walk to the pub). Spring Rock has a toilet and shower block, a separate washing up area and a chemical disposal point.

Only a limited number of anglers is allowed to fish at any one time. Please use the 'special requests' box to express your interest (unfortunately, requests cannot be guaranteed). Day tickets are only available for the pleasure lake; there is no day ticket access to the specimen carp lake at any time. Anyone wishing to fish the carp specimen lake must have appropriate carp fishing equipment including large 42” landing net, unhooking mat, carp care medikit and rod licence. No alarms allowed. Those without the correct equipment will be refused access. Please be aware that the fishery can close at any time during spawning.

Em va agradar Stunning site, it's as nice as the photos.
Very clean site and facilities and the staff/ owners were very friendly and helpful and answered all our questions about the local area.
Although the showers have to be paid for, this was not a problem, (owner had change we needed) and it added hardly anything to the cost of our 3 night stay. 20p a minute, 2 minutes was long enough for us.
The way the pitches are set out no views are obstructed.
I have already recommended the site to a few people.
Not sure what the WiFi was like a we had or own

No em va agradar Would like a shelf or hanging basket for toiletries in the shower, there was a hook so could be done.
We wouldn't walk to the pub with 2 dogs as was on a road with no pavement but was only a very short drive so was ok.

Em va agradar The site is nice with fishing lakes, etc. Facilities are clean.

No em va agradar Price - for what is offered! I've stayed at sites in this price bracket before £24 per night and they offer that bit extra: multiple water taps, for example. This site is only basic, but they are charging for higher class of site. Then, they charge £1 for 5 min shower! When I'm on a cheap site, I don't mind paying extra for a shower, but not at this cost per night!

Em va agradar Big pitch, peaceful, adults only. View of the lake. Toilets and showers cleanest we have been in. Andy is very helpful and loved the little keyring torch He gave to us all.

Em va agradar Very warm welcome from the owner, the site was immaculately clean facilities were fantastic also very clean well maintained fantastic views, owner, very knowledgeable and approachable. Very quiet as an adult only site. Dog friendly

No em va agradar Not so much dislike but the only thing was the internet, unfortunately the internet was on/off which was the same travelling around Wales.

Em va agradar Peaceful and beautiful site. Pitches were large and flat. Shower and toilet block was spotless and had a very powerful shower. Wash up area being indoors was also great.
Relaxing views over lake. Easy drive to Elan Valley.

Em va agradar Peace and tranquility. Immaculate grounds and shower blocks. Easy to find, easy access.Stunning views, great base to explore. Very friendly and helpful owner.Pitch size was enormous.Free Wi-Fi greatly appreciated , as we couldn’t get tv reception (could be our older caravan). We ate at the nearby Severn Arms.. dog friendly both inside and out, good pub grub. The nearby petrol station h fully stocked shop.

From Hereford/Kington, as you come into Llandegley, you will see a large sign on your left for household waste/recycling and the campsite is the next left after that.

Llocs d'interès

After a leisurely time fishing on site, more of the same can be landed at the local pub's section of the Ithon river, via fly fishing at Rhayader or Llyngwyn, or in the Wye from the nearby town of Builth Wells. Other active options easily accessed from here are pony trekking and horse riding, 4x4 experiences, Wye Valley kayaking and hikes around the Elan Valley. Cyclists should also like the hundreds of bikes and loads of cycling bits at the National Cycle Museum in local town Llandrindod Wells. If you're up for events, the Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd near Builth Wells hosts events throughout the year including the Royal Welsh Show in July, the Smallholders' Show in May, the Winter Fayre in December, dog and horse shows, and two antique fairs. You could also have a look at the red kite feeding station at Gigrin Farm, or take to the car for day trips: the Brecon Beacons, Aberystwyth and Hay-on-Wye are all within an hour.

Admissió

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Algunes instal·lacions/activitats, com fishing, estan subjectes a costs addicionals que s'han de pagar en arribar al càmping.

General

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.
Necessitareu disposar d'una llicència de pesca oficial (cal que l'obtingueu a través de l'organisme competent amb antelació).
S'ha de respectar el silenci absolut entre les 22:30 i les 7:30.

Gossos

Els gossos han d'estar fermats i vigilats en tot moment.
