Em va agradar: Good location and well presented site, warm and friendly welcome on arrival, little road noise considering how close it is to the main road (we were on pitch 1 - the closest to the gate). On site Takeaway available Tuesday-Saturday.
Free WiFi with decent coverage/speed depending on your pitch, antenna is in the main building so pitches on the far other end would struggle, decent mobile coverage available though
No em va agradar: Only 2 showers in the mens and 3 in the ladies so had a bit of a wait but this is only a minor issue

Em va agradar: This was a nicely put together small site and the pitches were laid out well with plenty of space. We were situated against the back of the site where it backs on to a wooded area and over looks the rest of the site. There is a useful food van than provides food which is great if you're a late arrival to site. Lovely toilets/showers and all amenities for the our camper/caravan.
No em va agradar: Midges! Whilst I know there is nothing the site can do about them and this comment is not at all aimed at the site it's more of a means to highlighting the problem, just be aware that from dusk to dawn or at least until the sun comes out the following day there is an abundance of them and you'll need either the best nets on your chosen camping home or you'll need to keep the doors/windows closed. We have dogs and this was hard for us to have to keep them in the campervan and try and cook with the doors and windows closed. We had the door open just a short time and they were everywhere.
I know western Scotland near to lochs has the biggest midge population so it is to be expected but one of our dogs had them over her head, neck and legs which wasn't great and neither did I expect that. We have travelled down the whole west coast from the north and these are the only midges we have encountered.
So if this isn't something you like I'd consider this before you book. (We visited in may)

Em va agradar: Well run quiet site close to the loch side with great views towards Skye.
The manager was very thorough on our arrival and made us welcome.
No em va agradar: Showers need up grading but were clean, annoying short term button that returns to cold water after every press !

Em va agradar: Briliant location for travelling around the Isle of Skye in particular. Spotlessly clean, nice food van on site for some days. Lovely view.
No em va agradar: Pub/hotel for food next door is NOT dog friendly.
Neighbouring pitch put up their driveaway awning on our grass pitch when we were out for the day (parked sideways instead of on their own section) and nobody (wardens) said anything.
Nothing really in walking distance if you have a dog and want a meal out.
WiFi hit and miss, dropped out a lot.
