Em va agradar Good site - off the beaten track, 4 fishing lakes, plenty of fish to catch. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will go back to this site for the fishing, - picking a period when I know it’s likely to be quiet. Not the place if you are looking for a clubhouse or bar or pubs within short walking distance.
No em va agradar I’m told that the site gets very busy in peak times, could imagine that it wouldn’t be so nice, for example in school holidays, we deliberately avoided such times and it was very quiet and peaceful.

Em va agradar Super friendly hosts, lovely flat pitches, great forest walk, lakes are beautiful and everyone is so friendly. The fishing is fantastic the kids were bringing up fish every 20 seconds!
No em va agradar Entrance road is through the camping section, not ideal with small children but can’t be helped.

Em va agradar This place was beautiful. The facilities were spotless, the site was quiet and the owners were amazing.
We camped with our 2 kids and we had the best time. The lakes and woodland walks thst are a part of the site are stunning.
They allowed us to move our pitch when the wind got too much for our gazebo and even went as far as providing a leaf blower so we could dry out tent off before we packed it away to leave.
Showers cost 50p and it gives you more than enough time to shower. There are washing machines and tumble dryer available as well as a place to wash up your dishes etc.

Beautiful, well maintained lakes and surroundings
Managers Phil and Mandy were warm, welcoming and very attentive.
Perfect location for a relaxing stay whilst fishing
My son and husband enjoyed fishing on the different lakes and caught loads. Lots of big carp to be caught!

Em va agradar The welcome we got from Phil and Mandy was amazing. Big smiles, lots of helpful information and nothing was too much trouble. They are excellent hosts and we were made aware to call upon them if we needed anything. This put us at ease as this was our first time taking our touring caravan away.
The setting is beautiful, the lakes and
fountains made for a relaxing stay. The facilities were all clean and convenient to use. We will definitely be returning to this little gem of a place.

Em va agradar What an amazing campsite, the owners are friendly and really take the time to show you around. The facilities are clean and tidy. Quiet after 10pm. Real personal touch. If you like fishing then there is lakes for you to fish on. The campsite is central to most places. We really enjoyed staying here. It was myself as a single mum with 2 teenagers age 16, 17 then a 9 year old.

Em va agradar What a great caravan park. Our second time of visiting. Warm and friendly greeting from Phil and Mandy. The whole area was in lovely standard and the fishing was great. No issues with electrics like I had read from other reviews. Nor was there any issues from any of our 3 caravan party. Phil in particular was extremely helpful be that with anything site related or with advice on the lakes. We look forward to coming back soon. Anthony, Andrea, Declan and Frank the Cocker Spaniel.

Em va agradar Lovely site, warden was super friendly always said hello. We was on a hard standing and even offered us pegs for the awning. Highly recommend Leon's Gate would definitely book again
