Coast walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your family dogs) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main road to Dartmouth. The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and places to eat are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty of things to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the river to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with huge sandy beaches, a theme park, a zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes and Salcombe or the fishing village of Brixham. That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to wifi and a dog park as well as a clean modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

Em va agradar Area, and location. Upkeep of site excellent. Easy access to showers and toilets, which were 10 star rating.

Em va agradar Lovely & Clean shower block , really peaceful , good sized pitches , a really lovely site.

No em va agradar Not enough bins around the site , its about 2.5 miles from Dartmouth itself , bus a little unreliable outside so we decided to get a taxi but had to ring about 5 different taxi firms before we could get one .. we would walk but there are no pavements outside the site so it would be a bit dangerous ( to add to this its not the sites fault its just how it is )

The site was empty when I arrived but this wasn't a problem…

Em va agradar The site was empty when I arrived but this wasn't a problem as I had received instructions for which pitch I was staying on via SMS. The toilet block and showers were immaculate. There is power for electric vehicles on each pitch, water and hookup. Everything on the site is brand new.

I stayed for 3 nights as I was competing in a triathlon. There is a bus stop just at the entrance to the site that takes about 25 minutes to get to Dartmouth. I can't fault the site at all.

Em va agradar The pitches were huge, each with their individual fresh water tap, electricity and EV charge port. The site was immaculate. The toilet, shower facilities were exceptional. So clean, modern. Hairdryers, mirrors, individual charging room that led to your private shower. Clothes all dry. The views were stunning. The campsite was quiet and peaceful and 10 mins from the main Dartmouth area. There is a dog exercise field, so even little Teddy had a holiday.

Em va agradar Felt welcome from the start. A very friendly and caring host who’s truly bothered about the site being as good as it can be.

This is a new site that’s been set up for the future, with good quality satellite WiFi and as far as I could see, electric car hookups on every pitch. The shower block, like the rest of the site is brand new and kept spotlessly clean.

The location was perfect for us, with a short bus ride into Dartmouth or some nice walks into both Dartmouth and Dittisham.

We definitely intend to go back here but I suspect it may start to get quite popular once it becomes more established. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay and the owner deserves to be successful. New sites are sometimes put together on a shoestring, but not this one.

Em va agradar Everything was perfect . Facilities absolutely spotless. Outside and inside wash up areas and grey waste facilities . Brilliant wi-fi.
Grounds were pretty and well kept. Hosts were friendly and very welcoming. The view is stunning. Best site we have stayed on and will be the only place we book for our next visit.
Just a few minutes from the harbour and has a bus stop just outside which is so convenient for Dartmouth and runs very regularly
Everything you need nearby Sainsbury’s, Lidl, very convenient for campers.
We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer .
