Landlooe Bridge Farm Camping

Landlooe Bridge Farm Camping is a family- and dog-friendly site on a non-working farm in the Cornwall countryside about 10 minutes’ drive south of Liskeard. This is a splendid place for a bit of rural relaxing: the site has secluded field and woodlands areas in the Looe Valley, with lovely views over the Cornish countryside, the Looe river and trains trundling past every hour or so as they make their way along the pretty Looe Valley Line. (If you fancy taking a ride, it’s a five-minute walk to get on board at Causeland station.) The countryside around here is fab for walkers – and so is the coastline. Looe is about 10 minutes’ drive south of the farm, with access to the South West Coast Path and several pubs for those that need a restorative drink after their seaside hike. Elsewhere along the coast, popular spots like Polperro and Lantic Bay are within a half-hour drive, or you can get to the pretty fishing village of Fowey in about 40 minutes. Away from the coast, days out at the Eden Project, Porfell Wildlife Park and Lanhydrock House are all within easy reach. Facilities on site include a modern bathroom block (with hot showers, toilets and baby changing facilities), a water point, recycling facilities, washing-up area and a freezer for ice packs.
