Trevanger Farm

Plan in for some peaceful camping at Trevanger Farm, a family-run beef farm two miles from the Cornish coast. A 10-minute drive from Rock beach, the site is well based for bumping around the waves on inflatables or wakeboarding and waterskiing in style. And when you want to try out different sands, the surfing haven at Polzeath beach is also 10 minutes’ drive away. As this site is so close to Rock, there are many seaside bars or cafés 10 minutes’ drive from the site (or even closer), all within walking distance, good for knocking back a few drinks or admiring the sea views. The town also has plenty of places to eat out, especially if you’re down for trying out the local seafood specialities. The ferry from Rock will take you to Padstow in around five or 10 minutes, if you fancy a day trip to a different town or somewhere else to eat in the day. Or if you’re simply looking for some snacks to fill your pockets with, there’s a food shop 15 minutes’ walk away from the site. Things are pretty peaceful around the site, as it's got just basic facilities such as a dishwashing area and portable toilet – the sort of thing that would suit wild campers in search of a little more convenience.
