Daymer View Glamping

With stylishly furnished bell tents and fantastic Cornish views, the pop-up site Daymer View Glamping is a place with a definite boho vibe. Set on a working farm located just five minutes’ drive (or a 10-minute walk) from Daymer Bay on the utterly gorgeous Camel Estuary, this is a lovely spot for families and friends looking for peace and quiet but close to the gourmet attractions of Port Isaac, Rock and Padstow. Fairy lights, wooden furniture, a mix of beds, futons and camp beds and stylish accessories all add to the luxury element at this site – bed linen is included, but please note there is no hot water and no electricity available. It’s five minutes’ walk to Polzeath, which has shops to stock up on barbecue supplies, or you can give in to temptation and surf the waterfront bars and restaurants – but don’t forget that a scrumptious Cornish afternoon tea is on offer at the site’s seasonal café, and there is a farm shop selling locally reared produce. Back at base, as well as the café and shop, there are toilets and running water and parking is allowed next to the pitches. It’s a dog-friendly spot too, so your canine chums can have lots of fun splashing around in the sea.
