Based 15 minutes’ drive from Newquay’s world-famous surfing beaches in Cornwall, this luxurious glamping unit has been lovingly restored in mahogany and sits on the banks of the River Gannel. Submerged in peaceful countryside, Anna makes a swish retreat for loved-up couples, who can indulge in a romantic sunset dip in the outdoor bath, tucked under willow trees, or savour an evening glass of smoothing chilled on the glass-lined balcony with lush garden views. Thanks to its clever layout with a private toilet and shower, sleeping area, mini kitchen and a sofa bed in the separate living space, the horsebox also has plenty of space and amenities to accommodate small families on glamping breaks. An unexpected bonus for all who stay here is the neighbouring holiday park; you can use the facilities – indoor heated pool, farm shop, bar, games room and kids’ play areas – free of charge. Wildlife and farm animals abound around the glampsite, including chickens, pigs and dogs, while the odd nosey goat or alpaca may put in an appearance over the fence from the farm next door.
