Em va agradar: Absolutely perfect! Stunning location and our hosts were lovely. This site had everything we needed and was so peaceful. Fabulous stargazing too if you are lucky enough to have a clear night. Could not recommend enough!

Em va agradar: We love this site. We live an hour away and whenever we need a break from any hustle and bustle we book a night or two and stay here.
The owners are lovely, the pitch is private and secluded and we love the peace and quiet.
The view across the fields is nice to spend time looking at while daydreaming and when it is sunny, the sunsets are lovely to see.
The compost loo is cleaned regularly and there are camping bits and pieces to help make the stay more comfortable ( wood for the fire pit, clothes dryer, washing up bowl).
Having said all that DON'T GO, cos we want to be able to !!!!!!

If you are someone who likes high speed internet, you may not get this here and there are no shops/tourist places but we like this about the site, so if these things don't bother you, the site will be fine for you.

Em va agradar: We liked the remoteness of this site. It was peaceful, with an abundance of birdlife around. The pitch included a picnic bench, fire-pit and barbeque - nice touch. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It really was a lovely place and we will definitely be back!

Em va agradar: What a lush place to pull up for the night! Totally secluded, had everything we needed including a compost loo, bins, logs, bbq and fire pit. Penny and Adam were amazing hosts!

Em va agradar: The peace.
I just wanted a couple of nights of peace and that's exactly what I got. Weather was terrible, but didn't matter, I could just drink tea and listen to the rain. Compost loo nice and dry.
Could have sat on the bench and enjoyed the view if it stopped raining for 5 minutes.

Em va agradar: Lovely spot with grassed picnic area with firepit . Great for a night or 2 stop in self contained campervan. Water and composting loo. Lovely views and great walk up to monument. Warm welcome.Turning to pitch no obvious at first but hosts very helpful
No em va agradar: Entrance and lane narrow but not really a problem in 5.5m campervan.

Em va agradar: Being the only unit there. Wonderful for our nervous dog and disabled adult son.
Loved the private garden at the back of the plot,the picnic table ,the fire pit and the private composting facility.
The farm animals were lovely to see. The owners were friendly.
No em va agradar: The pouring rain.
The access to the plot was tricky with the camper van but would get easier with practice.
None of which were the fault of the owners.
