Em va agradar: There is nothing to fault.
I love the set up of the campsite, gives you a real feel of privacy with each pitch.
The toilets are to be expected as composting toilet but they was clean and dry.
The showers were lovely, again all outdoorsy but lovely and warm with shelves for your shampoo/conditioner/toiletries and hooks for your towels/clothes and plenty of room to get dry and get dressed.
There are 2 fire pits, one nexto camp and one further into the woods- again these are great we used the one in the woods when it got dark.
There is also a place to wash up, which is so useful.
We couldn't fault the place and thoroughly enjoyed staying here and we will return for another camping adventure!

Clare’s farm.
She has thought of so many good things to make anyone’s stay more comfortable!
Lovely large,flat , pitches, great composting loos and fab gas heated showers and a washing up station too! You couldn’t ask for more!

Em va agradar: A very quiet site located down the end of a country lane but yet still easily walkable into the local village praze-am-beeble. Praze has a fantastic pub (The Aubyn arms) and a chippy plus a local shop to get supplies.
Two big firepits, one by the 8 secluded pitches and one in the middle of the woodlands down by the stream (Our favourite firepit site!) Campfire wood free of charge to take with a lighter supplied, fresh kindling nearby, wheelbarrow to help wheel the logs to the pits.
Two toilets and two showers make for generous facilities and it has a seperate water tap and a kitchen sink!
The woodlands are lovely and we loved walking through them and by the freshwater stream.
We were in pitch 1 and it was so lovely to here the stream trickling close by and so peaceful to fall asleep too.
Clare has fantastic communication with you at all times and is only a text away if you need her or have any questions.
Thank you to Clare and the team for this stunning campsite. We are already thinking about our next trip down!

No em va agradar: Unfortunately the phone signal around the camp is hit and miss, whilst we do not care as we were there to get away from the modern world; if you are travelling with people who are wi-fi dependant i.e kids / teenagers this could be a negative for you.

Em va agradar: From the moment I booked to the day we left, Clare has been a great host and amazing communication. The site is absolutely lovely and well kept. The kids loved every minute of our stay, as did we. Can't wait to come back!

Em va agradar: Everything about this site.
It’s down a long drive that leads you to a beautiful wild field.
It’s basic, it’s a field with set pitches, beautifully separated by the long grasses.
There is a communal fire pit which is a lovely addition, you can be sociable if you wish.
The toilets (earth loos) are immaculately clean and the shower is a unique looking, stone floored cabin with great pressure and hot water.
Great location for beaches, supermarkets etc
Clare & Rob are so welcoming.
We loved our week and will definitely return.

Em va agradar: Lovely & quiet, small site with good size mown plots, just what we were looking for.
Toilets; some of the best composting toilets we've been to but site is very small so not a lot of use.
Shower; Didn't try the shower as only very short stay.
Log fire pit; didn't use as very short stay.
Position; great for beaches, pubs, restaurants & farm shop etc 0-15 mins away.
Owner sent a txt message before we arrived, with contact details, very useful.

No em va agradar: Track to camping field long & narrow in parts but we were ok as in a campervan
Surprised at lack of wildlife, as lovely & quiet & relatively remote & no road noise.

Sorry about the lack of wildlife! We have put the farm under Countryside Stewardship in order to enhance and increase biodiversity this year, so once the wildflower meadows have been introduced (along with a range of other measures) we should see even more wildlife! Although the bigger animals are usually hard to spot at the best of times!! Hope to welcome you back for a longer stay soon!! All the best, Clare

Del gerent: Hi there, Thanks for your review. Sorry you weren't a fan of our wild campsite! Most people that choose us adore it as can be seen from our many top air b and b and Google reviews, however I absolutely agree it's not for everyone, which is what makes us so special. If you had told me, I could have picked up your rubbish for you. However, ultimately, YOU are responsible for your own waste in the countryside. I will include the length of the track more clearly in the description but we are quite literally OFF THE BEATEN TRACK ! We pride ourselves on being different to the many over crowded campsites. Not many of them have 50 acres of rolling farmland and their own private woodland walks and fortunately most people that visit us appreciate these things! But I shall endeavour to make our description clearer in order to manage expectations of future guests! Thanks again, Clare @ Trefewha Farm
