Perhaps you’re travelling to Kent to spend some time exploring the area known as the ‘Garden of England’, or you just need a stopover before heading across the Channel. Maybe you’ve got the whole family with you, or your partner and dog – or you’re on a little solo break. Whatever kind of Kent camping break you’ve got in mind, you’ll be very welcome at Blandred Camping. You’ll be in an excellent location for both local jaunts and onward travel when you stay here – this spacious site is part of a working arable farm within the Kent Downs National Landscape, and you’ll be able to get straight out onto local footpaths for walks and bike rides to see some of your scenic surroundings. Despite the peaceful rural vibe on site, this is a very handy Kent location – Folkestone is about 10 minutes’ drive away, or you can reach either Canterbury or Dover within 20 minutes. And, of course, that means that cross-Channel ferries and Eurotunnel trains are very close by for those heading over to France. Sticking around on this side of the Channel? There are plenty of great days out nearby, whether you’re planning to take in the coastline, explore historic Canterbury or treat the kids to a day at a safari park. A bus stop at the end of the lane has services to Canterbury and Folkestone; routes that also handily stop outside a couple of favourite local pubs. This is a simple site, but the facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets and a cold-water washing-up area) are nicely maintained, and there’s plenty of space to pitch up and play games. Campfires and barbecues are welcome, but no music, thanks – this is a peaceful kind of place.

Càmping net, tranquil i ben cuidat, ideal per a estades d'una nit abans o després de travessies en ferri. Elogis per a places espaioses, personal amable, instal·lacions excel·lents (obres nous dutxes/lavabos). Micro-pub popular. Em va agradar Good sized pitch. Friendly welcome. Good toilets/showers/washing up facilities.
Great location for LeShuttle.
Nice touch to be able to hire fire pits/wood although not available whilst we were there due to recent hot weather.

No em va agradar Need more showers for the size of the site. Had to wait 20 minutes for shower.

Em va agradar A lovely peaceful campsite. Nice big pitches spread around the edge of the field so you have loads of space, and a massive area for the kids to play in the middle.
The site is along a country lane, away from the main road so is really quiet. No light pollution so star gazing is great in the middle of nowhere.
No music policy is great! I’ve stayed on campsites where people have their music/movies playing really loudly without any respect for fellow campers, so we really liked this rule.
The toilets/showers/washing up area were always clean, the toilets/showers are a very good size with plenty of hooks to hang up all your bits.
There were quite a few dogs on site, they were all very well behaved with respectful owners. You wouldn’t know they were there! There are walks through the fields/woods, perfect for a dog walk.
Andrea, the site manager was very welcoming and very friendly.
The onsite micro pub (wasn’t very micro, it’s big!) was a lovely pub, barn style, warm, friendly, and popular.

Canterbury (20 minutes’ drive) is a special city that’s always worth a day out, whether you’ve been before or not. The cathedral, Roman Museum and Canterbury Tales exhibition are top picks for first timers, but there are lots more attractions beyond those – perhaps the Beaney House of Art & Knowledge, or an afternoon of punting along the river? Down at the coast, take a wander around Folkestone (10 minutes) to find all its outdoor art installations and scoff seafood at Folkestone Harbour Arm.
