Escape to the peace and quiet of the Isle of Wight countryside with Rusty’s Retreat – our brand-new 6-metre luxury bell tent at Rusty Meadow. Designed for two adults only, it’s the perfect romantic hideaway for couples who want the camping experience with a touch of comfort.
Inside, you’ll find a proper wooden bed with hotel-style bedding, rustic rugs underfoot, and a pair of cosy bucket chairs with a table for morning coffee or evening wine. Warm fairy lights and lanterns set the mood at night, giving the tent that magical glamping glow. A small camping stove and kettle are provided so you can enjoy a simple cuppa whenever you fancy.
Outside, soak up the wide open views across the fields and settle in for some of the Isle of Wight’s most spectacular sunsets. Your private picnic bench and firepit make the perfect spot to toast marshmallows, stargaze, or simply rest and recharge surrounded by nature.
Guests also have access to all the facilities at Rusty Meadow pop-up campsite, including compost loos, a washing-up station, a solar charging point, and free firewood for your campfire.
Please note: Rusty’s Retreat is strictly 2 adults only and no dogs.

As a pop up campsite we are very limited in what we are able to offer as temporary structures and our listing does state that we do not have showers so I am sorry if you were not aware of this. Most of our campers also heat water on their stoves for washing up so being unable to have hot water hasn't been an issue. We are looking to possibly put in a gas shower next year. Also the site is approx 3 acres and 2 of the acres are flat, with a slight incline up towards the toilets and facilities. Just wanted to clarify that for anyone reading your review as 'side of a hill' could be a little misleading, but glad you were able to find a space that could work for you. Enjoy the rest of your summer and thanks again for staying with us!

Em va agradar Lovely clean, peaceful campsite. Stayed 2 nights with my dog, lots of space and only a 15min walk to the local pub. Away from the main road so nice and quiet at night. The perfect spot if you enjoy wild camping but like the basic amenities aswell.
