Un càmping petit, tranquil i boscos, amb bona relació qualitat-preu. Els clients valoren l'ambient serè, l'entorn natural i el bon accés amb bus a Newport. La neteja i la comunicació amb els propietaris són punts forts. La millora de l'accés ha resolt preocupacions anteriors. No hi ha lavabos/dutxes, però sí aigua i desguàs. Algunes parcel·les són irregulars i hi ha hagut queixes per pocs lavabos/dutxes en temporada alta.

Em va agradar Lovely location between monkey haven and butterfly world aswell as GGs free entertainment. Peaceful site with nice clean . comfortable shower and toilet block . Good size pitches . Two lovely residents on site .very welcoming and very informative
No em va agradar The field is full of holes probably because of the weather gotta be careful when sitting on outdoor chairs or step to van as legs drop into the holes . Unfortunately we came when mosquitos were about . Made things a little uncomfortable. Never saw the owners of site although we were out most days so not sure if they visit the site.

Em va agradar We had a good pitch, facilities very clean. Quiet and good for travelling East Cowes.
No em va agradar No washing up, facilities would be pushed if site was busy. You needed to go out and about by vehicle.
Ground fine for caravan & campervan but it was very uneven for a tent.

No em va agradar This camp was not sign posted and was down a very uneven one way path.
Only one toilet and shower room that wasnt cleaned very often with no toilet paper and bin overflowing, shower was very small and no room to get changed in there.
We paid for a hardstanding pitch but we got a muddy and half grass pitch instead ,it was a good thing it wasnt raining.
Electric posts looked like they hadnt be serviced for years and we were shocked that they still worked.
Very expensive , we understand IOW festival weekend is going to be more expensive but this was 4 times the price than it normally is. No wifi or area map offered.
Very uncared for site and no host or reception to greet us.
No safe walk way into Newport but there is a busstop at top of the path.
Not much around to walk to really,
Better cheaper camps around even on festival weekends.

Em va agradar Campsite was wonderful and peaceful. Email communication was outstanding and helpful from start to finish. Campsite was clean and the toilet and shower were very clean, thank you.

No em va agradar The issue with the electric and it not being resolved, and we had to share our friends point all weekend, maybe it would be a good idea to number the electric point with the plot numbers so there is no confusion.
Also it would be worth noting that if you are attending the festival or walking into Newport town the road is very dangerous and it would be best to get the bus at the top of the lane, we managed to get a bus ticket for the whole weekend and we didn't use the festival bus and it was amazing, bus drivers were so helpful and friendly.
It would have been lovely to have met the campsite owner.
Also could do with another toilet and shower.

Em va agradar Liked the quietness and feel of being off the beaten track, yet only 10-12 minutes from the town centre of Newport by car or bus.
No em va agradar The fact there was only 1 shower and 1 toilet, the week we were there was IOW festival week and it was very busy, one more shower and toilet would have made the stay that much more comfortable.

Em va agradar Lovely peaceful campsite, new super warm shower block, bus stop right at the top of the lane handy for getting anywhere on the island without having to drive. Looked at some of the reviews before coming about the lane to access the site. But after getting there and it being better than some of the actual roads on the island! Guessing it’s be redone?! Very helpful owners, there if you need them by call or message. If you like the rural feeling with peace & quiet in the evenings, this campsites for you! Would recommend. 10/10
