No em va agradar: The toilets was disgusting the shawers had spiders in them the cabin had mould on one side also the noise from drunken famirly was horrible till late at night and the staff who did the shop inside the place tried to scam my misses out of more money for hot drinks by saying the price on the board was wrong and charged her more it was not till I went back there saying they had no right to do that that they gave me some money back for over charging her and scamming her out of more money

Del gerent: Hello, Thank you for your review. We did had several issues during your stay that are worth pointing out. Firstly, one of our members of staff, a young girl, felt very threatened by you and another camper felt she had to stay with her to keep her safe. The issue you had was that you didn't get any free firewood. Our staff member had to point out that the free firewood was just for the Pods with Hot Tubs (which you weren't staying in). Secondly, you threatened another one of our female staff members because cans of pop had gone up by 25p. Thirdly, you complained about several other places (not here), and seemed to enjoy complaining in gereral. There were other issues but I don't feel the need to go on anymore. Hopefully people will have made their own minds up by this point. For the first two points, you are blacklisted from our site. The first for several years. In terms of the specific points you raised in your "review"; The showers are cleaned very regularly, and we have a replacement scheme underway for brand new facilities coming very soon. There were no other guests that mentioned 'noise from a drunken family'. Staff who do several walks around the site didn't notice anything, and security who do final checks didn't mention anything, but regardless, apologies if this disturbed you. I hope you can find other more suitable sites in the future.

Em va agradar: We visit with two younger boys. Was an absolute lovely place to be and really relaxing. The boys loved playing meeting friends and feeding animals. We will def come back with the boys and alone as we both fish. Caught two lovely carp each whilst there. Thankyou to the owner, very welcoming place to stay. Cute pods. Nice little shop and clean amenities. See you again soon def. I have pictures to upload but it’s telling me they are not the correct size. Some nice fish and pics from our stay. Em va agradar: Amazing staff, welcoming atmosphere, amazing views, so peaceful, we wish we booked longer, we will definitely be going back.

No em va agradar: Nothing really, when you camp and glamp for as long as we have you learn that its not a 5* hotel, although to be fair most sites we use are better than hotels, including stanley villa farm.

Em va agradar: Staff are amazing, everybody that was staying there were also really pleasant, given my daughter may have ADHD and my friends son has Severe Autism they loved the atmosphere and have said they want to go back.

Em va agradar: Absolutely amazing place, pure serenity. Pods were spacious for the 2 of us and our dog. We were lucky enough to have 2 days of sunshine too. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Will be going back very soon!

Em va agradar: Staff were great. Communal facilities good

No em va agradar: There was wasps everywhere. Every time we opened the door of our pod atleast 2 flew in. We couldn’t sit outside as they where swarming us. We where supposed to stay 2 nights but left after 1. We won’t return. FYI, there was 2 wasps nests. One in the wood of the shelter on the communal cabin. And one in the fence behind the pods.

Del gerent: Hello, thanks for your review and glad you liked the staff / service and the facilities. It's such a shame the wasps were out in force. As soon as we noticed the nest we contacted our pest control company, who have visited today and removed the nest, and set up several traps. It's made an immediate effect so shouldn't be an issue for any future visits. I am sorry the wasps would put you off recommending us or visiting again as they do only come out in force at very certain times of the year, and we have now done all we can to lessen the impact. Having worked here for over 11 years, I've only ever been stung once (when I put my hand on a broom with a wasp under it!) So it is very rare to get stung. If you do ever consider a return, you'd be more than welcome. You know where we are. Many thanks, Alex
