Em va agradar We had such a wonderful stay at Orchard Heights! Our pod was absolutely lovely — comfortable, clean, cosy and very well equipped. Everything we needed was provided, including a fridge, microwave and all the facilities to make our stay easy and enjoyable. The washroom facilities were clean and well maintained, and the whole environment was peaceful and welcoming.
The communication and messaging throughout our stay was also excellent. We received clear and timely updates, and whenever we needed information, everything was communicated properly. We had absolutely no problems with the messaging or communication, which made our stay even more stress-free.
My husband, my children and I — our whole family — absolutely loved our stay. We genuinely enjoyed our time there and made some lovely memories. The administration was also very good and clearly puts a lot of effort into providing a clean and comfortable experience for guests.
One small piece of constructive feedback: it would be wonderful if guests could be reminded to treat the facilities with the same care and respect they would give their own home. During our stay, we noticed that some visitors were not using the shared toilets respectfully, including leaving towels on the floor and using them almost like a mop. This was disappointing, especially because the administration works so hard to provide such clean facilities.
Perhaps having a designated toilet for each pod/family, or clearer reminders for visitors about keeping shared facilities clean, could help prevent this.
Apart from that, everything was fantastic — the pod, cleanliness, facilities, communication, environment and service were all excellent. We would highly recommend Orchard Heights to our friends and family, and InshaAllah, we will definitely be visiting again next time! ❤️🌿

Em va agradar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Orchard Hideaway – Honest Review

We stayed at Orchard Hideaway this weekend and, to be honest, I was a little nervous beforehand after reading some of the reviews — but I wanted to share a completely honest reflection of our stay.

The site itself is absolutely lovely. The scenery is beautiful, and you genuinely wouldn’t think you were so close to a busy A-road — it feels much more peaceful than expected.

One of the unexpected bonuses was how convenient the location is. It’s only a couple of minutes’ walk to places like Burger King and Greggs, which was a lifesaver with the kids while we were getting the barbecue set up or waiting for food. There are also plenty of supermarkets nearby, including an Aldi just a 3–4 minute drive away, which made things really easy.

We did visit Pooley Bridge during our stay and it’s absolutely lovely — definitely worth a trip out if you’re staying here.

As for the pods — they were perfect for what we needed. They’re not very spacious and there isn’t much storage, but we just made it work. There are little ledges by the bunk beds which we used for clothes and bits, so it wasn’t an issue.

The facilities inside were great — the fridge, microwave and kettle were all really useful. The Wi-Fi was spot on, and we were able to log into Netflix, Prime, etc. without any problems at all.

We also decided to hire out the chill-out area — and I would definitely recommend it. It might seem a little pricey at first, but it’s well worth it, especially if you can share the cost with another group. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Each pod has its own individual barbecue/fire area with a bench, located just a short distance away, which is ideal and keeps everything nicely set out.

The walk to the toilets and showers is literally seconds, which was really convenient. They were always clean, which is a big plus. We did take our own toilet roll just in case, which I’d probably recommend doing. The showers were lovely — once you get used to how they work, they’re absolutely fine.

The pods also had heating, which was great. We only needed it on for about an hour before bed and then turned it off, and it stayed lovely and warm — we didn’t even need sleeping bags some nights.

We took our dog along and had no issues at all. He was on the lead most of the time and well-behaved, and everyone on site was really relaxed about it.

Overall, we had a really lovely stay. If you go expecting loads of space, it might not be for you — but if you’re happy with a cosy, well-equipped pod in a great location, it’s definitely worth it.

We’ll definitely be returning later in the year 😊

No em va agradar Just i did not like one of things the car park Not near pods thats hard to transfer things . So if you put weelbarrow to transfer things that is will be perfectly meny thanks

Em va agradar Nice little Glamping area near the motorway, accessible to amenities and easy to find.

Em va agradar Clean, cheap, contact free, easy stay. Owners are lovely. Perfect quiet walks to do locally. Easy access to Keswick and Penrith, close to M6. Couldn't have asked for more.
