Parcel·la extremadament neta i ben cuidada amb personal amable i servicial. Elogis constants per a les instal·lacions impecables, especialment les dutxes i lavabos. Bar "The Engine Shed" amb menjar variat. Ideal per a excursions i per explorar la ciutat propera. Molt recomanat per les seves comoditats, ambient tranquil i familiar. Molts clients desitgen tornar.

Em va agradar Great campsite, fantastic communication and very accommodating. Clean, modern. facilities and right next to the town and river. Pitch was a good size and very well looked after grounds, nicest place we’ve stayed in the Uk !
No em va agradar Engine shed food on hash brown night was sadly pre bought in chicken not the best quality. Had an upset stomach the next day, would have been nice to see fresh flat breads and use of fresh herbs to lift the dishes. Seems a waste of with what looked like such a lovely quality kitchen/pizza oven. Reasonably priced enough but wouldn’t go again for food.

Em va agradar The park is fantastic, beautifully maintained and the tent pitches were level and a great size. Plenty to do in the surrounding area and the engine shed is a fab addition to the site, we had pitta boxes on the Wednesday evening which were amazing and the weather was lovely so we sat outside of the bar which had ample seating. Staff were really friendly and a member of staff off duty was sat having a drink behind us at the bar and stepped in to help my husband retrieve my daughter's necklace that she had chucked up into the tree and also advised there were kids toys inside if the kids needed something to play with, so friendly and happy to help! Noise curfews were respected across the park which was nice to see having previously experienced the opposite at another site which ruined our camping trip. Overall we had a really pleasant stay.
No em va agradar The only slight negative was the toilet facilities could've been a bit cleaner/more regularly maintained as they did get a bit scruffy throughout the day, however they definitely aren't the worst I've used and for the most part were clean. I'd also have liked to have seen the toilets locked during unsociable hours, as a female it felt daunting walking into the toilet block at 3am with the door wide open knowing anyone could be in there! Not sure why the code system isn't utilised more given it is in place!

Em va agradar Arrived with such a friendly welcome from reception , we got set up , the campsite was very full but nice and calm , The facilities were immaculate and never busy to say how full the site was and always clean , nice little washing up area , plenty of hot water , even a spray for muddy boots and paws ! The Engine Shed is brilliant bar , you can also get food too !
Plenty of outside seating and with the great weather we have had this weekend it was really nice … it’s a great campsite definitely be back !

Em va agradar Nice, clean, well laid out and well-maintained site on the upper edge of Kirkby Stephen. Nice wide pitches with electric posts and a mix of gravel / grass. There is a motorhome service point and individual water and waste points throughout the site. The site is child and dog friendly. The Engine Shed bar / restaurant is a quirky delight with food (and music) on certain nights via local suppliers. Staff interactions were friendly and helpful. The site has a small shop in reception for basic essentials.
The town its self has a number of bars, restaurants, small shops, PO etc but is well downhill from the site.
No em va agradar Very little in respect of the site with the exception of flies buzzing around in the Engine Shed...it could do with a commercial zapper down near the main doors.
In respect of Kirkby Steven: well if you have mobility issues and need the use of a buggy or motorised chair, best to take a vehicle (taxi) into town (note: book early, limited availability) as pavements terminate or go to unfinished surfaces unexpectedly. Dropped pavements at the town approaches are lacking in places. On the "good" side on the upper main street, access can be blocked by cars parked on the pavement. In the town, access improves greatly.

Showers and loos clean and in top condition.
Engine Shed was great. Firebox food variety on different days is a great touch.
We thoroughly recommend this site.
