The wooden cabin is situated in lovely surroundings a beautifully cut grass field. Little bbq hut in the middle of the field, so so lovely. Cannot wait to return

Em va agradar Wigwam was spacious and clean, shower were hot every morning which was lovely, kitchen area has everything you need to make a meal and plenty of seating, the area is very peaceful and only a short drive to the beach which our pooch loved in the mornings.

No em va agradar We had a slight issue with flys in the wigwam, we seemed to have a whole lot of them them on the first night, not that this is controllable by the management, I would recommend citronella scents or candle for outside the wigwam. Other than that a pleasant stay!

Em va agradar We stayed here when our eldest was 2yrs old. He’s now 13yrs old and has a little brother so we decided to book a wigwam as a last minute getaway during the summer. The weather was perfect, the wigwam was awesome and the facilities were perfect for what we needed.

Em va agradar Really liked the site. The pods was really cozy and had everything you could need. The site was in a great location and has shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Food there is nice. Fire outside pod at night is a must and everyone is spaced out perfectly for your own privacy but not too much so can’t interact with people if like too. Everyone on site was friendly. Showers/toilets were clean as were the community kitchen. Didn’t use the bbq pods but from what could see looked great. Will definitely return.

Em va agradar Cosy pod & useful communal kitchen with everything we needed. We asked to stay an extra night and was accommodated.

No em va agradar A lot of the activities advertised are no longer there, no go karts, lake has been sold off so no fishing either.

Charges for ‘fire pits’ i.e. the inside of an old tyre seem pretty excessive

Lots of rules on the site - the guidebook should be available before booking

We had the basic wigwam - no sink/microwave would have been much better (couldn’t find the option to upgrade when booking - possibly fully booked)

Em va agradar Lovely, quiet campsite with good facilities. Communal kitchen is well equipped and the owners/staff were friendly.The wigwams were great with plenty of room for 2.

No em va agradar The shop left a lot to be desired, was mainly stocked with toys and local jam/alcohol so make sure you head to the supermarket beforehand to stock up

Em va agradar Everything!! The pod was clean, warm and spacious, you can get pods with en suite bathrooms but we didn’t, we used the communal bathroom facilities and they were fantastic. The showers were clean and hot with plenty of room to get washed and dressed within them.
The communal kitchen was a great surprise, everything you could ever need to cook whatever takes your fancy, they even had washing machines for us to use if required.
They have got BBQ huts that you can use which are under cover so you can BBQ in whatever the English weather throws at you.
The onsite restaurant serves the best breakfast ever, it doesn’t look too big but it’s a struggle to get through it all, all the items on the plate were delicious and of a good quality, then Sunday arrived and it was time for the Sunday roast to make an appearance, OMG, the roast was amazing, we had the roast beef roast and we absolutely loved it, I highly recommend the roast to every guest, you will not be disappointed.
The whole site was spotless and the staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very welcoming, I’m looking forward to a return visit very soon.
Oh I nearly forgot the cider, the farm makes their own cider and it is fantastic, a little pricey but well worth the cost if you are a cider drinker like us, the different flavours are just delicious.
