Ugthorpe Lodge Caravan Park is situated just off the A171, a stones throw from the picturesque fishing port of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coastline. A park known for its peaceful atmosphere, Ugthorpe Lodge Caravan Park is open to campers, tourers, seasonal tourers and holiday home owners eight months per year. It has been owned and personally managed by 3 generations of the Stainsby family for over 50 years and is the ideal base for a relaxing break in a wonderful area of the country. New addition to the Park for 2015 - Our Shepherds Huts. Positioned at the lower end of the Park - a quiet and peaceful location with views down to the coast and across to Whitby Abbey. The Huts are of made from recycled wood insulated with a mixture of sheeps wool and fibre. The Hobbit style wood-burning stoves and internal layout provides a quirky feel for that different type of camper. The Shepherds Huts host basic furniture i.e. seating double bed frame and electric hook-up. Guests need to bring inflatable mattress, sleeping bags basically everything but the tent.
