Leave the kids with their grandparents (but bring the dog…) and treat your other half to a romantic weekend in the Norfolk countryside. In order for romance to thrive, though, you need a peaceful setting, and that’s exactly what awaits at Breezy Acre. At this adults-only site about a mile outside the village of Felthorpe (it’s a 15-minute walk to the village pub), you and your beloved should be able to find the quiet to recharge your batteries. If peace and tranquillity don’t make a dent on your stress levels, how about this? The site also has a wellness area, so you can pamper yourself with a relaxing beauty treatment or a session in the wood-fired sauna (followed by an invigorating plunge-pool dip, of course). There are two fishing lakes, a couple of golf clubs and a handful of pubs serving food within a 10-minute drive of the site. Or you might want to explore your natural surroundings, taking the dog for a walk (on a lead, mind) in Broadland Country Park, Alderford Common or the Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Buxton Heath (all five minutes’ drive). These areas of woodland and heathland attract plenty of birds and butterflies. Or maybe you’d prefer to head to the coast. Cromer is half an hour away, and after fish and chips on the beach, you might want to check out what’s on at the Pavilion Theatre on the pier.

És un lloc nou només per a adults amb propietaris amables. Parcel·les planes i ben espaiades, envoltades d'arbres. Instal·lacions noves i netes, tot i que hi ha algunes queixes sobre el lavabo/dutxa i la manca de fregalls. Els propietaris preveuen noves instal·lacions. No em va agradar Bear in mind there’s a lot of traffic noise until the early hours if you are trying to sleep. Quite possibly only affects non electric pitch side of field.

No em va agradar Tents pitches close together particularly as most campers in large tents.Hence poor night's sleep due to noisy adjacent tent watching films.
Combined toilet and shower shed obviously means queueing for toilet whilst someone showers is not ideal.

Em va agradar Super quiet and compact rural adult-only site. Beautiful sunset views. Nicely presented facilities, but (like others have said) will really benefit from having a second shower/toilet and having washing up facilities.

Em va agradar Really lovely, quiet site with electric hook up on some pitches. I stayed just for a quiet night away with a friend to hang out and catch up. Added bonus we got to use the spa facilities for an hour at an extra cost. Gorgeous wood fired sauna and cold plunge pool available (I did not use) apart from the radiator n which stopped us sitting outside it was the perfect spa night away. Shower and toilet facilities very clean, warm and modern. Didn’t need any WiFi as had phone signal.

No em va agradar There is only one shower and toilet which was fine as only 7 pitches in use, this could be a problem if site is full. We did have to wait to use the shower but we weren’t bothered. Also because the toilet is in with the shower if you need the toilet you have to wait if someone is showering, could be an issue if you are bursting to go.

Em va agradar What a gem of a find, stayed here in my camper when attending a local event. Chris and Tammy were so accommodating, and the sauna and plunge pool were an unexpected bonus!

Em va agradar We had a lovely stay at this campsite. It was quiet and not very busy when we stayed. A clean and well maintained site with spotless facilities. The owners were available if need be and very helpful too. We would definitely stay there again.

Em va agradar Beautiful little pitch with the Campervan for few nights. Time Hollistics being part of it made it better where I loved the time spend in the wellness area and a brilliant massage .

After visiting the imposing 11th-century cathedral in Norwich (25 minutes’ drive), check out the collections on display at Norwich Castle, which include ancient Egyptian and Roman artefacts, Anglo-Saxon objects and items related to the Royal Norfolk Regiment. Stay until the evening to catch a musical or a comedy performance at the Norwich Theatre. On your way to Cromer (half an hour), stop at National Trust - Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate, a 17th-century country house with a pretty walled garden planted to fragrant herbs. Then it’s on to Cromer and the coast: stroll along Cromer Esplanade (see if you can spot Banksy’s ‘Luxury Rentals Only’ artwork), then climb up Cromer Ridge to reach the lighthouse. The best way to explore the Broads National Park (half an hour) is probably by boat. This expansive area of wetlands and waterways is home to a wide variety of birdlife, including bitterns and marsh harriers, plus water shrews and otters.
