Rural hols with a touch of luxury are what's around at Glamping West Midlands – and all without pitching a tent or loading up the car with piles of kit… No bumpy ground or sleeping on slopes here, just swish, toasty and fully-equipped accommodation with beds, crisp linen, firepits and outdoor furniture from which to watch the stars. Set near Enville in the Staffordshire countryside, Glamping West Midlands is a smallholding that's home to llamas, horses, ponies, sheep, chickens and other friendly critters. Walks over meadow, heathland and farmland as well as past pools and lakes are all around; this is a walkers' paradise, so bring your comfy boots. And your irons: a golf club is right next door. The glamping units come equipped with bedding, towels and a camping stove so you can keep the car boot space free for souvenirs (or beer and/or champers: a fridge and freezer is on site for guests' use). They don't have electricity, but all are atmospherically lit by the use of fairy lights and lanterns, and electric points are available along with the fridge and freezer in the site's luxury shower block.

Què opinen els clients

Els hostes elogien aquest càmping per la seva tranquil·litat i l'ambient natural, amb un camp ben cuidat i iurts còmodes. Els nens van gaudir especialment dels animals (ases, llamàntols, ovelles) i poder alimentar-los. La banyera d'hidromassatge de llenya i la foguera van ser destacades per relaxar-se i socialitzar. Encara que no és un hotel de luxe, disposa de nevera, congelador i lavabos nets. Els visitants van agrair l'absència de Wi-Fi, i tot el necessari per a una escapada, excepte menjar i articles personals, està disponible. Els propietaris són molt agradables.

Em va agradar We loved it here!! So much fun for the kids. The animals are gorgeous and the whole experience of glamping was brilliant. BBQ and wood fired hot tub were perfect and Chris was so kind to us all.

For day trips, Glamping West Midlands is a handy base for well-known attractions like the Black Country Living Museum; the High Town, Low Town and cliff railway of Shropshire's Bridgnorth; the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge, and puffs on the Severn Valley Railway, cruising along the Severn Valley from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster. Drive to Bidford-on-Avon to access the 100-mile Heart of England Way walking path through the Midlands from Cannock Chase to the Cotswolds via Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
