Have a break at Hatton Camping, right next door to Hatton Country World, and get easy access to an ace array of family-friendly attractions – from the boutiques in the shopping village to the kid-focused entertainment at Adventure World. Laser tag, a petting farm, an escape room and an 18th-century coaching inn are just some of the other fab things to test out a few minutes’ walk from the park, while more Warwickshire sightseeing spots – such as Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon (20 minutes’ drive) and Warwick Castle (10 minutes) – are also a cinch to reach. Pottering along in the countryside is possible from the park as well, including to the Hatton Locks on Grand Union Canal (45 minutes’ walk), nicknamed the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ as it’s the longest flight of locks in Europe. A word of warning if you’re planning on heading further afield, however: you might not be able to lure your partner away from the garden centre or the kids from Hatton Country World’s 100 acres’ worth of entertainment, including 450 creatures of 60 different breeds and species. There are also more than 30 shows and activities held daily during holidays and on the weekends. There are toilets and showers on site, but take note that the showers are open between 8am and 10am only, and again between 6pm to 7pm (outside of this time, speak to the site wardens).

Em va agradar The camping spot was good and level, no issues with the pitches.

No em va agradar The toilets were not the best, no hand soap or alcohol gel to wash hands after use. And quite dirty, paper on the floor. One person was letting there dog drink from the sink!! I know part of this comes down to the guests but stayed on other sites which are cleaned more frequently i think more could be done to keep cleaner. Showers were ok (plenty of warm water) the door locks were not the best very stiff and especially hard for the kids.

Em va agradar Groot terrein met erg veel ruimte om je tent op te zetten. Interessante ligging als uitvalsbasis. Voor mensen met kinderen is er ook een grote kindersspeeltuin/pretpark achter het kampeerterrein (tegen betaling)

No em va agradar Het sanitair was niet erg proper. Er waren drie toiletten waarvan er eentje was met een deur die niet op slot kon.
De douches waren oké, maar beperkt in tijd (2 uren 's ochtends en 2 uur 's avonds doordat het warm water voorzien wordt door een dieselgenerator).

Em va agradar Great location for Hatton Adventure World. Plenty of space on the campsite & also able to choose your pitch site.
Facilities were clean a bit basic but does the job. Hot showers and they were open earlier than stated on the website. So more than happy.

Em va agradar We were very warmly Greeted by TJ, which immediatly makes you feel comfortable in your new surroundings.
The ammenities are adequate but not luxurious, but you get what you pay for.
It was fine for us.

Em va agradar Big flat field, peaceful. Good value.

No em va agradar Loos & shower in individual cabins, were clean , fine but basic & a bit small. Doors locked ok !

It’s very unlikely you’ll be hearing the dreaded words ‘I’m bored’ from the kids while staying at this site, but there are a few other places to add to your agenda if you’re after activities that are a little more cultural. One of these is Stratford-upon-Avon (20 minutes’ drive) with its Shakespeare-themed amusements, including the former cottage of the bard’s wife and the Swan Theatre, which hosts plays by the Royal Shakespeare Company on the River Avon’s banks. Another handsome town that’s easy to access is the Regency-era Royal Leamington Spa. Wander the wide boulevards in search of the colonnade-covered Royal Pump Rooms – a 19th-century bathhouse turned into the Leamington Spa Art Gallery and Museum – or go off on a jaunt around Jephson Gardens’ pristine floral displays and tropical glasshouse (20 minutes). More history is to be had at Warwick Castle (10 minutes), one of the UK’s finest medieval structures and a hit with younger as well as older sightseers. Kids who are less keen on the past and more into creepy-crawlies, meanwhile, might prefer strolling around the Stratford Butterfly Farm (20 minutes).
