Acampada espaiosa i tranquil·la en entorn rural, a prop del riu Trent per a passejades i esports aquàtics. Personal amable i servicial. Instal·lacions bàsiques però netes (es podrien millorar). Fàcil accés a pubs locals. Es permeten fogueres i barbacoes.

Em va agradar The owner was Lovely and easy to talk to. It was clear to see she cared about her visitors and the site and wanted everyone to enjoy their time.
Site was peaceful.
The kitchen area bins and showers where all a good standard and clean.

No em va agradar The non organisid electric hookup points just randomly around the camp. You need extra long cables. The office is a joke scap bits of paper as a list of who is coming.
If you like the sound of julling banjos this is the place for you.
The toilet block is a disaster built in 1970s and never upgraded. Stable doors on showers with 50p plastic curtains.
3 toilets all very small, your knees will touch the door. Showers leak water into the corridor and the floor feels like it will collapse. Chap said they are being upgraded soon. But no sign of any work going on.
Road noise is bad from 6 am.unless you desperate to stay in that area I would go some where else. Sign outside says welcome to Paradise 😂 clapped out American motorhome eyesaw next to gate.

Em va agradar Location close to the River Trent and walks to lovely villages with pubs. Big spacious site with plenty of privacy. Just the job for our kayaking weekend, Licence required. Showers were good and overall facilities good for our needs.

Decent Site and would return for a weekend break.

Em va agradar The site was very quiet in the evenings. The guys running the place were pleasant enough.
Plenty of water points scattered around and no specific pitches, just give others plenty of room even on EHU pitches.
No em va agradar The toilets and showers were functional but short on space to move around.
Seemed to be no Freeview TV signals and Vodafone signal very poor.

Em va agradar Liked that ourselves and our friends could be together.
No em va agradar We had just pitched up when a car came speeding up to this horrendous looking caravan just in the entrance of the site , and a little guy got out swearing his head off at one of the guys from the site , next thing the police arrived it was like something out of a film , this made us a little uneasy ,
A little later we quickly went to pay and the manager of the site told us a little about what was going on why the police had to be called so we didn’t get told any rules of the site .
We had a walk out to the local pub arrived back around 9 then sat around had a few drinks put a little music on picking a song each we liked , then it got a little chilly so one of our friends lit his little fire he brought to keep us warm , we could see another party of friends/family further down on our right hand side had got a fire roaring so we knew this was ok , we sat out till around 12 ,untill the fire was out we had a wonderful evening catching up with friends enjoying ourselves like you do when your away , untill the next morning the site owner rang saying we were extremely load and we were not allowed a fire , our speaker we had only went up so far which was realy quiet so we apologised that it wouldn’t happen the following evening, even though this is never happened to us before.
The following evening sat and had a lovely barbecue we didn’t lie to fire as obviously we were told we couldn’t to a surprise the same people down the right hand side had the fire the night before same as us had got a fire roaring twice as high as what we had ,
So I’ll be my friend went for a little walk , she stopped to talk to them and asked if they had been told they couldn’t have a fire and their response to that was no so that’s why they got one that evening .
We don’t disrespect people and we look after things but that spoilt our weekend

Em va agradar All amenities were useful on site nice clean camping areas walk to the toilets at night wasn’t too bad showers were clean and so were the toilets and washing up facilities fridge freezer and microwave were very handy
No em va agradar Not much to do around the area but some nice walks and a lovely tearoom about 20 minutes walk but quite expensive unfortunately the near by pub was not doing food when we was there
