Pack your beach gear if you’re heading to Rosa Campsite – this adults-only site is a mere few minutes’ amble from a long, sandy beach. There’s a peaceful rural vibe here, with acres of farmland views to gaze out over, but it's all only 20 minutes' walk from the pubs, cafés and small supermarket in the coastal village of Chapel St Leonards. The site is also only a 10-minute walk from the dog-friendly Chapel Point beach. Vicky and Shaun have set up their site in a quiet spot and take pride in the friendly and helpful welcome they offer to guests. Pitches are in a large grass field that’s pleasingly flat, with plenty of space for barbecues. Showers are close by for convenient riddance of accumulated sand; they’re free to use and kept mightily clean. A washing-up area and recycling facility are also provided to keep the place spick and span. If your walking boots want a bit of action, it'll take you 25 minutes to drive over to the Lincolnshire Wolds, where you can hit the trails through woodland and grassland to see the wildlife now abundant in the abandoned chalk pits.

Del gerent: I don’t normally comment on reviews, but I find this personally offensive. Firstly your comment is a lie. We had 18 people on site when you were here and 2 showers in operation.
On arrival you were complaining that you could not bring your large motor home as it was not allowed on site which you knew prior to booking.
You packed the wrong awning to your camper so had an issue to get it attached.
Both of these things put you both in a bad position but neither were our fault.
I understand that you had a mobility problem and medication, you could have put this on your booking and I could have put you closer to the facilities.
I spoke to you on a number of occasions whilst you were on site, never did you mention that you thought the site was as bad as your review states, if I had of known I may have been able to help improve your stay.
Yes, you were unfortunate that the weather wasn’t good for your stay which is unfortunate with the summer we have had.
I feel all the issues you had with your break were from your side and not ours. The review is damaging to my business and a personal insult to me. I’m not sure why you have done this and if maybe you find it entertaining, but I would ask if you have a decent bone in your body you would choose to remove it.

Em va agradar Lovely quiet site, large pitches with plenty of privacy, great location just 10 minutes' walk to the beautiful beach at Chapel Point. Nice clean toilets and showers.

No em va agradar The only thing was that there could have been more toilets and showers as there were only two open at the time we stayed. Having said that, I didn't ever need to wait for the toilet.

Peaceful and quiet.
Adults only.
Clean and well kept.

No em va agradar Not really a dislike, just the hot water was on a sensor and didn't always work straight away needed a few attempts. Hot water in the showers didn't last long.

Em va agradar Lovely peaceful site. Facilities basic but perfectly adequate. Short walk to a beautiful beach and North Sea Observatory with a cafe serving very tasty meals while enjoying a view of the sea.

Drive for 10 minutes to reach the natural dunes of Anderby Creek or head the other way for all sorts of amusements in Ingoldmells. The seaside resort of Skegness is about 20 minutes away; traditional fun here includes amusement arcades. Skegness Aquarium has a fab collection of marine animals including sharks, octopus and colourful clown fish, and animal fans should take a detour to Skegness's Natureland Seal Sanctuary too. Gunby Hall, a National Trust property 20 minutes away, makes another great day out: take the house tour before wandering round the walled gardens and wildflower areas of the estate and having a genteel game of croquet.
