Let Alan, Jo, their two sons and labrador welcome you into the lovely Lincolnshire countryside… the rural location and the splendid views at The Lazy Buzzards might convince you that you’re tucked firmly away in nature’s big backyard, which is true aside from the fact that the seaside resort of Skegness is only 10 minutes’ drive to the east (that’s a 15-minute pedal for those of you who have brought a pair of wheels along). Families, dogs, couples and any fans of a barbecue will find this family-run site particularly splendid. The nearest dog-friendly pub is only 20 minutes’ walk away and there are many other options for tasty fodder in the pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages, towns and cities, including Burgh le Marsh (half an hour’s walk), Ingoldmells (10 minutes’ drive), Spilsby (15 minutes), Chapel St Leonards (15 minutes), Alford (20 minutes), Horncastle (25 minutes), Louth (half an hour) and Lincoln (an hour). With the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds three miles away, pick up the pace with rambles through the valleys, woodlands or chalk pits, and then return to the spacious four-acre site for some thorough relaxation. The views over the Lincolnshire fields make for some spectacular barbecues, that’s for sure. When it’s time to see Skegness and all of its sights, simply join the A158 nearby. Once there, you might have a hard time deciding on between all the indoor and outdoor attractions, which include the Fantasy Island theme park, bowling alleys, a cinema, fairground, crazy golf and a beach. Perhaps pick up some fish and chips or ice cream and take a parade along the seafront and pier or nose around the shops on the high street too?

Em va agradar Communication on arrival was great, he helped me understand the electrics when i wasn't sure if my plug up didn't work. Easy to find and toilets/showers where close by to each pitch. Thankyou

Em va agradar The owners were fantastic. They helped me put my tent up when I arrived as the ground was so hard with the recent heatwave, I couldn't get the pegs in!
The campsite was so peaceful, but in good distance to drive to surrounding attractions. Or a lovely walk to the nearest pub which took about 25 minutes at a slow pace.

No em va agradar Toilets weren't cleaned as often as we'd liked. The toilets are unisex so often found wee all over the seats. Also there are gaps in the wooden doors so it wasn't nice trying to do your business whilst people were walking past.

Em va agradar Site great but was very busy , noise was a little bit too much also people were waiting for toilets.but I say it was very busy so you have to expect it . I have stayed here 3 times this year.and will go back again .

Em va agradar Upon arrival the meet and greet was very quick. We stayed for 3 nights and was never bothered by anyone. The site was very busy but there was no noise after 10pm (as stated in the site rules). We used our bikes more than the car, with an easy, safe ride to Ingoldmels only taking 25 minutes. Showers and toilets were kept clean, and there was always hot water for showers and washing up. There was a communal freezer, to leave any frozen food or ice packs, which was a good idea.

No em va agradar The site facilities were very basic, but that reflected in the price we paid per night. We pitched up near the wooden cubicles for the toilet and showers. The only downfall was there wasn't really anywhere to leave dry clothes and towels in the shower block, there was only 2 hooks, which wasn't really sufficient. There was also no mirrors or inside sink to have a shave or brush teeth.

Em va agradar Lovely family pitch nice n quiet. plenty of room for the kids to play ball games. Owners lovely.

No em va agradar Shower and toilet could do with an upgrade. And did smell a bit which was a bit off putting and not very clean..

Em va agradar Clean, tidy, friendly owners, great location, lots to do in Skegness and a great beach which is a 15minute drive.

No em va agradar Felt quite cramped, not much open space for children to play but that said they managed to have fun whilst we were on site.

Em va agradar The site was lovely, greeted at check in, given information. Straight forward to find pitch.
Toilets and showers were clean and didn't wait to long at peak time. Although if park was full I think it would've meant ling wait times.

Could do with hand wash pointing out in the middle toilet block, you have to go round the back to pot wash area. The sanitiser in toilets was also empty every day.

The pitches were spacious unless you're in a corner. I would've felt for who ever may have been in pitch 14, definitely wouldn't have had space.

No em va agradar Be careful of the roads, not the camp sites problem but the huge rises in the middle could damage your car
