The Safari tent at Big Sky is hidden away in a secluded private pitch surrounded by young trees, bushes and tall grasses.

The tent itself is 4m x 3m and includes two mattresses on the floor, one double and one single. The single doubles up as a lounging sofa when not needed. We include two comfortable camping chairs, bean bags and solar lighting.

Outside is a firepit and two chairs.

Toilets are a minutes walk away and the communal barn is the same distance, open in the morning and evening.

There is no mains power to the bell tent but if you'd like to charge up your phone, laptop or extra lights you can charge them up in the barn each evening. We also hire out Jackery power packs for £5 per day if you have extra power needs.

Each bell tent comes with a private firebowl and if you'd like a rechargeable lantern we'll happily loan one for your stay. The camping meadow is vehicle free to keep the place quiet and safe!

Don't worry though, the car park is 100 metres away and we supply big wheelbarrows so you can get your gear between car and camp.

If you like the idea of escaping to nature and getting away from it all without needing a whole lotta luxury, this is your place (although, our mattresses are pretty comfy!​) We provide mattresses and sheets but ask guests to bring the rest of their bedding - a duvet/sleeping bag + pillow

Grills, coolboxes with ice packs and BBQs are all available upon request.​

Bell tent facilities:​​
We've a block with eco loos in our camping field and a wash stand for dishes and hands.

While we love animals we can't allow pets on site as they stress our alpacas out.

PS. If you're not a fan of bugs, flies, spiders, fresh air, the distant sound of tractors or cows or anything much to do with being outside in the countryside, our site may not be your ideal getaway! We are passionate about spacing out our camping pitches and accommodations so everyone has their own, peaceful space in nature

This canvas bell tent can sleep up to four people. It'll be ready for your arrival with mattresses and sheets in.
