A stay at Herefordshire’s peaceful and oh-so-prettily landscaped Broadmeadow Caravan Park puts you in pole position for explorations of the neighbouring counties of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Monmouthshire – on both sides of the English-Welsh border. Tucked into a quiet lakeside corner of the lively market town of Ross-on-Wye, the touring site has spacious and level grass pitches equipped with electric hook-ups. Handily positioned water taps and waste-disposal points ensure convenience throughout your stay, along with two well-appointed toilet and shower blocks with wheelchair-accessible and family facilities. Please note that during quieter periods, one block may be closed. You can stroll the extensive grounds around the two on-site lakes, and anyone with an interest in fishing may well take up lakeside residence free of charge for the duration of their stay. Sporting facilities in Ross include an indoor swimming pool and gym (good rainy-day ideas), a putting green and tennis courts. Within a radius of about 20 minutes’ drive, you can also play golf, go pony trekking, canoeing, fishing, cycling or mountain biking, see a film, have a flutter on the horses and take river cruises along the Wye.

Em va agradar Flat spacious pitches, clean facilities, efficient check in.

No em va agradar Long walk into town if elderly and pitch is at the far end of field. Charges for our dog and visitors parking we thought were a little overpriced (not so bad if visitors staying all day but if only for an hour or so then a bit much ).

2nd tine visiting and would stay again!

Em va agradar Clean and quiet site, nice flat pitch with plenty of room. Facilities clean and tidy, plenty of showers and hot water. Easy access to walks around the ponds and food available to feed the Ducks. Good location close to town with supermarket within a short walk

Em va agradar Beautiful setting and very quiet. Pretty much full when we stayed but still plenty of green space. Very close to supermarket abd easy walk into Ross centre for shops and restaurants of which there are plenty. Loved the park area near river and the views from near the church

Our pitch and the site layout explained. Always a wave and good morning when the wardens passed. Great signal 5G with Tesco mobile (O2) and great satellite signal.
Service post had Electricity and water for each pitch and a motorhome service area. Shower/toilet blocks were spotless.
Beautiful manicured site with lovely ponds and ducks roaming around. So relaxing and a short walk into Ross-on-Wye. Morrisons 5 minutes outside of site.
Totally relaxing break.
