What a peaceful park this is for Peak District hols – on 11 acres of quiet woodland near the national park and set deep in the Derbyshire countryside with picnic areas peppered all around. And what a pleasing park this is for those who insist on amenities being immaculate and up to date – the toilet and shower block comes with disabled access, baby changing and showers with hot and cold water, and is kept in tiptop condition at all times by the friendly site team. Riddings Wood Holiday Park is a rural park but with easy access to urban centres like Derby and Nottingham as well as to the hikes, bike rides and canters of the Peak District. (If you're a bit bamboozled as to what to do first, have a look at the tourist info point in reception or ask the team for tips.) Campfires are allowed if you need a bit of warming upon return. And finally, what a pint-friendly site Riddings Wood is too – the only thatched-roof pub in Derbyshire, Moulders Arms (aka The Thack), is a short stroll away; and the Seven Stars, a community pub, is just across the road. Em va agradar This was our first ever outing in our van and we absolutely loved the park. It was clean and everyone was really friendly! The couple running the site were very helpful and friendly - coming to help us out, as they knew this was our first time! The play area was excellent and our son spent the whole weekend making friends there

Em va agradar The staff were friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and there was plenty of hot water. We made use of the Indian takeaway service on the Saturday afternoon too, which was the best Indian we’ve ever had.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en goede tips qua restaurants.
Super net en schoon sanitair. Er zijn 2 gebouwen maar 1 zat er dicht dus die kan ik niet beoordelen.
Kat Winston is erg aanhankelijk.

No em va agradar Sommige plekken zijn ongelijk en hobbelig, daar hadden wij er 1 van. We kregen onze combinatie niet waterpas.
Weinig en grof grind, waardoor bij regen de voortent flappen modderig worden.
Wij vonden het geen probleem maar er was geen wifi

Em va agradar The setting is lovely , the hot tub , the bathroom and the bed was comfortable

No em va agradar The horrible green fake grass , it was soaking wet from a rain shower and stayed soaking wet , different flooring on the outside would have made it so much easier with the baby, shoes , and access to the hot tub. It would be nice if the Cleaning included under the sofas

To the Peak! The Peak District National Park is but a short drive from Riddings Wood Holiday Park, and has a bit of what you fancy for all ages and inclinations. If you're in the area to hike, there are more Peak District trails than you can shake a (walking) stick at, from the shorter treks of seven or so miles around the upper Dove Valley and Pilsbury Castle, to long-distance paths like the Limestone Way (46 miles), the Derwent Valley Heritage Way (55 miles) or the Peak District parts of the Pennine Way, running for 268 miles from the northern Peak District to just inside the Scottish border. Climbers and cavers also delve into all things Peak: thousands of routes for all abilities are all over the park for climbers, including Burcen Edge for beginners and more hair-raising ascents like Debauchery and Mad Dogs and Englishmen for the severely experienced. If you're of a cavernous disposition, make your way to the village of Castleton and its four show caves, Blue John, the Peak, Treak Cliff and Speedwell Cavern with underground boat trip. Matlock Bath has a cable car to take adventurers to limestone caverns The Heights of Abraham, and Poole's Cavern near Buxton has vast caves to explore before an above-surface walk around Buxton Country Park. Other attractions like Chatsworth House and Gardens and the old Crich Tramway are to hand for the historically-minded, alongside old Peak District villages and market towns for tearooms, restaurants, family pubs and lots of shopping: try Buxton, Ashbourne and Bakewell to start you off. Back at Matlock Bath, let the kids go large at the rides and attractions of theme and play park Gullivers Kingdom for ages two to 13; the 600-acre Matlock Farm Park nearby should keep them busy for a bit too.

Admissió

Almenys un dels membres del grup ha de tenir 18 anys o més.

Allotjament llogat

Allotjament llogat: en arribar al càmping, haureu de pagar una fiança de 150,00 £ (175,35 €) per danys/neteja/polsera que us reembossaran quan marxeu del càmping si, després d'inspeccionar-la, es determina que la unitat no ha sofert danys ni pèrdues durant la vostra estada.

Arribades i sortides

Les arribades tardanes s'han de notificar al càmping al més aviat possible. La vostra reserva queda garantida durant 24 hores. Un cop passat aquest temps, la direcció es reserva el dret de rellogar la vostra unitat.
No s'ofereixen reembossaments/descomptes per les inclemències metereològiques, les arribades tardanes ni les sortides anticipades.

Extres

Es poden portar motos en lloc dels cotxes inclosos en el preu.

En cas que tingueu alguna queixa, parleu amb recepció de seguida. Aquelles queixes que no hagueu presentat a l'administració durant la vostra estada no es podran resoldre un cop hagueu marxat del càmping.
La direcció es reserva el dret de refusar l'accés o posar fi a l'estada d'aquells hostes que presentin un comportament inapropiat. En tal cas, no s'oferirà cap reembossament.
Les ràdios, els reproductors de música i els televisors s'han de mantenir a baix volum. Les portes i els maleters dels vehicles s'han de tancar amb cura.
S'ha de respectar el silenci absolut entre les 23:00 i les 7:00.

Seguretat

Es permet fer barbacoes sempre que no es facin directament al terra i hi hagi un adult que les vigili en tot moment.
Està prohibit portar armes de foc.

Vehicles

Està prohibit que els vehicles circulin de 23:00 a 7:00.
Només es permet aparcar un vehicle al costat de la parcel·la. Els vehicles addicionals s'han d'aparcar a la zona designada.
No s'admeten vehicles comercials (vehicles utilitzats amb motiu de feina o per transportar mercaderies o passatgers) ni vehicles amb propaganda al càmping.

Visites

Els vehicles de les visites no tenen accés autoritzat al càmping.
Els visitants han d'abandonar les instal·lacions abans de les 20:00.
