喜欢 Everything! Absolutely loved this little site! The owners were so friendly and clearly loved both their farming and campsite running life and they do both so well! The location was perfect as we spent some time paddle boarding near Brecon and swimming in the river Usk and of course we did Pen Y Fan! Facilities were great and spotless. Cute little walk from the site along a small stream with some small pools for kids to splash about in. 40min walk to Brecon town. Feeding and fussing the donkeys was a regular treat; especially the foals. Oh and there was WiFi included which was really good as we needed to check weather and paddling and walking routes etc. Just don’t tell the kids there’s WiFi though!

不喜欢 The fact we had to leave as we were heading south on our road trip. We will be back!

不喜欢 Everything about is place. We thought this was a family oriented caravan park. What we found was a site full of noisy people playing their thumping music all day and all night, whilst working on e-motorbikes or cars whilst Ferrell children ran riot round the site. We asked to move pitches to a quieter one which we did but it made no difference. We shut ourselves in our van and kept away from everyone as we felt very uncomfortable and not welcome at all. The loud music continued into the small hours so we had to pull the pop top roof down and all slept downstairs in the van to try and minimise the noise. The next morning we asked for a refund for our second night and left. Avoid at all costs unless you like loud music and sleep depravation.

喜欢 Great location. Peaceful site. Plenty of space.

不喜欢 Despite multiple signs warning of extremely hot water throughout the site what the signs should have said was “no hot water”. Boiling kettles to do washing up or wash faces or shave was not part of the plan. Facilities adequate but basic. showers were warm at best. If you’re not fussed and like roughing it then this is the place for you. I wouldn’t mind so much but the price I paid should have assured we had hot water.

喜欢 Friendly staff. Amazing showers. Spotless facilities. Loved the fact that there was a giant extractor fan in the showers/toilets as it kept the place dry and odour free. Big site with plenty of room on the pitches. Site WiFi was free and actually worked; which is rare on some sites you pay for it. Very large pitches.

喜欢 Firstly I want to thank Colin again for going above and beyond to help with my situation as I fell sick and was taken to hospital leaving my daughter at the site. He checked in on her and even topped up her phone so she could call me! Besides that the site boasts amazing views to Tintagel, SW Coast path is a short walk from the site and Boscastle is about 3miles hike; which is breathtaking! Such a peaceful site. Perfect to relax and recharge. Clean and well maintained facilities with plenty of hot water in sinks, pot wash and showers at all times. Highly recommended.

喜欢 We really relaxed and enjoyed our week’s holiday here. So peaceful even with the road alongside. Site backed onto marshland and the river. There’s walks all around. Also a pond right by the pitches which is frequented by otters which you can hear in the evening (we didn’t see them though but heard them a lot)! The owner was so friendly and welcoming and was always chatting to everyone. There’s a gun dog training centre next door so it was really interesting to watch them training during our stay. The small shop was well stocked and there’s an honesty box system so you can even get things after hours of you run out. I liked the fact it wasn’t busy despite being a bank holiday weekend. No big families or groups of rowdy youngsters to be found here. We really did unwind this week! The site is close to St Clears where there’s a Spar shop for most things you’d need and within a 30min drive from Pendine and Tenby etc.

不喜欢 I wouldn’t say we disliked anything at all. We knew the facilities were basic when we booked it. There was a hot shower and a toilet. Both kept clean. No hot water in the toilet sink and the pot wash didn’t have any either, but the site is fairly new and is being developed. The owner told us of his plans to add hot water and a shelter over the pit wash area and also to create more hard standing and gravel areas. We usually do our pots in the camper but my pump and sink both spring a leak so we had to wash outside. Honestly we had no dislikes. We WILL be back.

喜欢 I've stayed here before but so knew it would be fine. It's a lovely, well presented site that's well maintained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I think it's perfectly located for access to the coast either by car or train (which is just nearby). Great facilities always clean and music in the loos; what more do you need? We were pitched right by the railway line and the passing trains didn't bother us one bit. The village has a couple of decent shops for groceries, at least three pubs, a chip shop and a really good Chinese takeaway; all within 5-10mins walk. The path to the river was flooded sadly, which was a shame as there's a lovely walk along the river (take wellies if the forecast is bad). Monkey World is great fun, just 5 mins drive and there's also the Tank Museum. Can't really fault it, so we will be back for a third visit.

不喜欢 The shop was a little pricey and understocked, but there's two shops in the village within 5 mins walk, so not really an issue, just a point.
