喜欢 Very quiet loads of room, Motorhome pitches are very large. Clean showers and toilets.

不喜欢 Not much room to pull in off the road as the gate opens outwards so I had to stop in the road to unlock the gate

喜欢 Wow very well maintained. This site is very clean and well looked after. Quiet location at the end of a long lane that follows the river. We stayed in the pitches next to the river ( probably not suitable for families with children ) Definitely visit the Beer Shed and Rich’s Cider Farm about 30-40min walk up the road. Take aways delivery to the site if you fancy that.

不喜欢 I like having good WiFi and phone service but I did think £5 a day for the WiFi was a bit much. Not got problem with paying 50p for the shower but take extra in as it doesn’t last long, I got caught out covered in soap searching for a 50p. 😂

喜欢 Rustic, no fuss, laid back site. Good location to explore Taunton and local pubs within walking distance (Bathpool Inn and The Merry Monk)

不喜欢 Toilets and showers could do with a refresh, however still useable.

喜欢 Great staff welcomed us onto site. After raining for 2 days most grass pitches were wet and there was a risk of making a mess of the grass, so the lovely lady upgraded us to a hard standing pitch. We booked into the site pub for dinner and had nice food and drinks. We were told there would be live music and fresh pizza on the Saturday evening in the barn. Really enjoyed my stay any could not fault the site or the facilities, very quiet location with great views. Supermarket at the top of the lane and 30min bus to Weymouth. Will be booking in when I’m next in the area, loved it.

喜欢 Nice and tidy, nice easy online check in so I already had the gate code and pitch number before I arrived. Toilets and showers are kept clean. On site cafe ( I didn’t use it so can’t comment on the quality of it ) Had a nice walk out in the local woodland and down to the local village the next day.

不喜欢 Not much to dislike. As long as you fellow campers are respectful it will be a great experience.

不喜欢 This has potential to be a great site. It is very run down and now under new management, but should have not been taking bookings until they had given the place a good tidy up and a lick of paint.

喜欢 Very much liked the laid back feel of the camp site. Massive pitch, loads of room around us. Toilets and showers were all working and clean. Nice little bar up by the ponds that serves food. Would definitely visit again if we are in the area.

不喜欢 Our pitch was just inside the gate in what looked like a car park, the pitch opposite was less than 10ft away and felt very intrusive. I went down to the reception to ask if I could use one of the pitches in the empty field, the lake manager in the office was far from welcoming and couldn’t take his eyes off the computer screen to answer any of my questions. I asked if I could change our pitch but was told no, even though there was only 3 pitches occupied. I went back to the camper and searched for a alternative site and left immediately.

来自经理: Hi David, I am sorry you found our Staff unwelcoming and where unhappy with Plot 2 you had been allocated and that it did not live up to your expectations. We only have 1 non EHU plot available on the site which is Plot 2, there is small grass area and a 6 foot fence between you and the car park (generally no one will be in after 6pm) and with only 6-8 campers on site on Saturday night there was not going to be much passing traffic. All Plots directly overlooking the Lake are EHU Motorhome and we state the size of plots on pitchup and generally comments are they are that pitches are larger than described. Our Staff member Mike would not allow you to go up into the Tent Field as this is our site policy, unfortunately, when we have in past allowed small camper vans or Motorhomes go up into the tent field with heavy rain forecast we have ended up towing them out the following day. So now we do not allow small VW vans or bigger vans go up into the tent top field unless bone dry. Since most of our Andark Staff and vehicles would be at Southampton Boat Show on Sunday, we would have no vehicle available to tow you out on the Sunday if needed. I am not sure of the make of your Van or Motorhome but not too many have 4 wheel drive, not sure if yours does. Below is a review from someone else who stayed on this same Plot in August :- 'Very relaxed and always a friendly reception. I like it because it is quiet and even though it is near to pubs and shops it feels very rural. The showers/toilets are spotless. Good value for money.'
