喜欢 Location, although the noise from road didn’t make it peaceful. Having access via pavement to walk into Monmouth.

不喜欢 Disorganisation on arrival. Only 2 of wash basins in female washroom worked. With the loos , 3 door latches didn’t lock. Water in dishwashing area wasn’t very warm.

喜欢 Last minute booking, 1 night stay away. Absolutely blown away at the site. Friendly welcome, perfectly positioned to take in the amazing views. Small shop with all the basics & local produce. The shower block, washing up facilities & laundry were the best, so clean. The displayed awards are proof of this. Walked around the lake, boggy in places but there has been quite a lot of rain recently! The mad spaniel also had fun out walking on lead. Livestock around & 2 old bulls in retirement could be heard ,all added to our wonderful short stay. Already booked up for August bank holiday. Called in at Hay-on-wye on way home. (10 minutes away)Lots of places to eat and walks by river- amazing. Located well to explore mid Wales & information regarding this well displayed. Book trolley available to swap good reads.

喜欢 Location well signed posted from main road Peaceful. Short walk to village inc pub

不喜欢 Needed a small basket in shower for wash kit. Had put shower gel shampoo on floor

喜欢 The area, lots of walks from the site. The Nags Head pub in Pontesbury! The manager & his partner were lovely, bombing around in his golf buggy. We are not fishing fans but with 5 ponds to choose it’s a haven for fishing lovers. You can’t take a dog around the pools for safety reasons.

不喜欢 Only 1 loo and shower for the park. There was 1 other for disabled users. Both were very clean. Only I water tap so you need a water carrier.
