喜欢 Lovely, peaceful site away from everything which was perfect for me to switch off. Gorgeous farm walks in either direction from the site of you’re looking to get your steps in. Spacious pitches and gorgeous views of the sea. Loved watching the goats playing in the pen next to the pitch and the emus were unexpected but amazing! Honesty shop was a lovely touch.

不喜欢 Not a dislike but SatNav didn’t take me all the way up to the site - follow the single track road all the way up and you’ll come to the farm on your left!

喜欢 Peaceful site with beautiful views over Bassenthwaite & Skiddaw, pitches were generously sized and nicely spaced. Really well located and easy to find following satnav. Relatively flat 6 mile walk into Cockermouth town centre. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and well kept. Didn’t use the games room or the clubhouse as I was travelling alone but these were a nice touch, as was the drying room. Loved the chickens roaming free and the Valais Blacknose Sheep! Great communication before, during and after my stay and a warm welcome upon arrival. Unfortunately had to cut my trip short due to bad weather but I will definitely be back when the winds settle down!
