Ik was blij met Peaceful site with beautiful views over Bassenthwaite & Skiddaw, pitches were generously sized and nicely spaced. Really well located and easy to find following satnav. Relatively flat 6 mile walk into Cockermouth town centre. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and well kept. Didn’t use the games room or the clubhouse as I was travelling alone but these were a nice touch, as was the drying room. Loved the chickens roaming free and the Valais Blacknose Sheep! Great communication before, during and after my stay and a warm welcome upon arrival. Unfortunately had to cut my trip short due to bad weather but I will definitely be back when the winds settle down!
