喜欢 Loved this site - it was not too busy, very peaceful and great amenities. Toilets and showers were kept nice and clean and showers were lovely and warm. Location is great for exploring the lizard peninsula. Having access to a freezer was great for cooling ice blocks. We will return!

喜欢 This is a fabulous campsite, probably the best we have visited in the UK. Plenty of space to pitch, with no markings so you can choose where to go. We visited out of the school holidays so it was very peaceful. The shower block was immaculate, modern and kept very clean, and always lovely hot water every time I had a shower. Plus there was a family bathroom with a bath which I thought was a nice touch, especially if you have little ones. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and the grounds were really pretty and there was a woodland nearby where we could let our dog run off lead. The walk into St.Columb Major is hilly, but not too far, and there are some nice pubs - we went to the Ring O Bells, and the food was great.

不喜欢 Dogs are not allowed in the barn, which meant we couldn't join the evening entertainment

喜欢 The pitch sizes were great, spacious and level and it was lovely to have our own fenced off area. Also wifi at all pitches is a bonus. Plenty of shade which was needed given we arrived to 32 degree heat! The staff were all brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Shower and toilet areas were spotless, and nice warm showers. The pool was lovely and kept very clean. Food vans were good, and saved having to drive into town in the evenings for food. The lake was lovely, and perfect for walking our dog around the perimeter. All in all a lovely picturesque campsite and fantastic value for money.

不喜欢 The main road is near enough for traffic noise to be heard at night, but we used earplugs which resolved the problem. There was also a noisy cockerel in the field next door, but there's not a lot that can be done about that! Again, earplugs helped.
