喜欢 Fabulous site on the side of a hill with views along the valley. VERY good facilities including recycling for waste. Showers are second best of our travels (Clear Skies will never be beaten) . A 15 minute walk into Llangollen (good selection of shops (fantastic butcher’s!!) pubs, walks) means you can pitch up and stay for as long as you want without having to move your mobile home. Best of all is the welcome. They genuinely care and want you to enjoy their site. They bring you cake when you are settled. I’m not joking!!

不喜欢 Wi-Fi is 50/50. That’s all I’ve got! 😂

喜欢 Second time staying there. Very quiet, almost silent, apart from the cows! Small and very well kept.

不喜欢 Second visit and still wouldn’t know the owner if I passed them in the site!! 🙄 Pity as they run an otherwise lovely site.

喜欢 Very quiet, only 5 touring pitches. Only one shower but it was very clean and spacious.

不喜欢 No reception or welcome. Never saw the he owner. No recycling just two general rubbish bins.

喜欢 The absolute quiet. 7 pitches in a mainly residential park. Very well serviced with outstanding views along the valley. The showers are absolutely the best I have experienced. There is no internet. For some that would be a problem but for me it was a welcome break from the outside world. I WILL be coming back.

不喜欢 I’m kind of nit picking here but there is no reception. No welcome. No informative leaflets or maps. There was an outright ban on barbecuing in the park due to a prolonged drought but,I didn’t know until I took a hike off of the site and saw the signs beside the road on the way back in. Had there been a reception with a sign, I would never have lit it. No damage done and nobody said a word but I would rather have known.

来自经理: Thank you for your feedback. There is a sign about barbecues on site, although I appreciate you may not have seen it. With the wildfires this summer and our location in the heart of Kielder Forest, we can’t take the risk of allowing barbecues. We have just seven pitches, so we don’t have a staffed reception. I’m sorry if this wasn’t clear before your visit.

喜欢 The welcome was amazing. The facilities are brand new. The owners have only just opened up to tourers and are trying hard to welcome new customers. It is right on the Ermine Way so perfect it you are interested in the history, this section of the road is just a chalk path so you do get a sense of the past!

不喜欢 The pitch is right beside the A17 so quite noisy including through the night. Again, it is a new site to tourers so, although they are genuinely trying hard, there are some refinements yet to make but I am sure they will get there. Better signage for instance would help as we were not sure had arrived at the right place. There is little to keep you on site

来自经理: Robert, thank you for posting your review on our site. We do like to remain sympathetic to our surroundings and many have described our site as rustic. We do pride ourselves in the welcome we provide when people first arrive and ask if anything is not to their satisfaction that we will rectify this. We are human after all. Yes, we agree on the road noise can be pretty loud at times and we have done everything possible to reduce this but it is now outwith our control. The signs we now have in place as we recognised that this needed resolving quickly. We also have a new reception building as on arrival, we process these and it is manned when people are arriving. We are continually updating and maintaining everything possible but are glad we upgraded the toilet block in the winter months and now it is a key feature. Yes we do not have anything entertainment wise to keep people onsite but instead we concentrated on families and invested in play park equipment which is being well utilised this weekend and as soon as it was ready and safe to use.
