喜欢 Park for the kids, lights around trees making it look cosy.

不喜欢 Showers wasn't clean... toilets took ages to re fill toilet rolls, hand towels not enough facilities

I’m sorry that you found that the shower wasn’t clean and that the toilet rolls were not replaced quickly enough. We do have signs up in both the ladies and gents toilets saying that if the facilities are not clean or lacking essentials then to please contact the owners so that this can be rectified quickly. I don’t suppose you are aware , but there are guidelines as to how many toilets and showers are required for the number of campers and we keep ourselves within the required ratio of campers to toilets and showers.

喜欢 Lovely play area for children. Lee was very helpful and made us feel welcome on arrival. We used his hose pipe to fill our motorhome. Very pretty lights around the trees.

不喜欢 The campsite is by a road, however it didn’t disturb our sleep.

Unfortunately there is no getting away from the fact that we run parallel to the busy A17, this is stated in our write up on PitchUp and I’m pleased to hear that it didn’t keep you awake at all.

喜欢 My son had fun meeting new friends on the park. Ok for an overnight stay on our travels.

不喜欢 Just overall not what we expected, everything just looked tired and old. Caravans stored and a few permanent vans made it look untidy. Facilities on site were ok, not the cleanest but not the worst we've seen. Dog poo left around back of our pitch, lots of holes on the pitch.

来自经理: Hello and thank you for your review and we are sorry that you didn’t like our site. Did you speak to anyone about the dog poo? We can’t rectify anything if we don’t know about it. Dog owners are supposed to lean up after their dogs, but also know that not everyone does, unfortunately. Had you spoken to one of the owners this would have been cleared straight away. With regards to the holes on your pitch, we have a number of rabbits around the site (along with moles) and they make the holes. We are in the country and wildlife make their own rules. We do go around and fill any, but again we do need to know about it, in order to be able to sort it.

来自经理: Thank you for your review and we are pleased to note that you liked the site and would visit again. Unfortunately, as our site runs parallel to the very busy A17, road noise is impossible to avoid. Our site is very rural being part of a very small hamlet that is Byard’s Leap and as a result we are not and never have been on a bus route. In our info on PitchUp does state that we are right next to a very busy road, some people can switch off to it, but for some the road noise is too intrusive. Hopefully, we will see you again in the near future.

喜欢 Brilliant campsite, we stayed for 4 nights Friday to Tuesday. Family friendly, great park. Nice hot shower.

Some of which we have had to remove through the season and it will go back up when the time is right. Safety always comes first. We still have lots of things to do onsite for youngsters and we love hearing the whoops of laughter from children.
Our showers are not only hot but a great water pressure which we are blessed to have.
We’d love to have you back staying again and thank you again for taking up some of your valuable time to leave a review.

喜欢 We had a fantastic 4 night stay, the owners are lovely, nice level pitches, kiddies absolutely loved the park, clean toilets and shower, we will definitely be returning 😊

不喜欢 Nothing, we wish we could have stayed longer.

We are thrilled you had a fantastic stay with us as it proves we got things right for you. The play park equipment was a lot more at the start of the season but we have had to remove elements of this due to safety but these will go back up once we get the right parts as this year it has taken a battering. The weather being so dry has not helped this neither.
We pride our site in the clean toilets and showers as we use them too when we stay onsite.

Unfortunately we have had an ant problem. They do get literally everywhere and if not controlled can become an even bigger headache.
You are right we are right next to a main road and that in itself is a lot of negatives for us. We don’t hide the fact we are as close to the main road as we are and this is in our bio and site description.
We’re sorry you felt that The Beeches was not for you.

喜欢 Great campsite- exactly as described. The facilities were great, play park was good, toilets and shower clean and cafe nearby was great during our stay.

喜欢 Family friendly chilled and lovely people this is the second time we've stay with our 3 children and we love it , toilets and showers are nice and clean lots too do in the local area we choose too just stay onsite and relax the children played for hours

不喜欢 I know some people mention the road noise but you do get used too it , it didn't effect our time there

You are so right about the road noise, we’ve tried everything in our power to reduce this but it’s unfortunately something we have to live with. Without sounding like a broken record, some people think it’s a massive problem but we are so glad you felt it didn’t make your stay a bad one with us.
The fact you’ve returned means we are getting things right and we take great pleasure in realising this. We are unfortunately situated where we are and you do need a car to get to us, and to travel to other destinations away from here. That is why we have catered for families with small children in getting the amount of play park equipment we have. The fact you felt you could relax whilst the children were playing is testament enough that you found our facilities more than acceptable. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us a review.
