不喜欢 Bacon / breakfast van very expensive and poor food (also lacked manners). Roll was very dry and did not appear to be fresh Sited vans in our area were quite arrogant and tried to be funny with you. We ignored them but I can see some being uncomfortable.

喜欢 This is an excellent site, and Jimmy and his family should be extremely proud of what they’ve created. From arrival to departure, the experience is smooth, well‑organised, and genuinely enjoyable. Access to the site is straightforward, with all main roads leading to a pleasant drive right up to the barrier. Prior to arrival, Jimmy provides all the necessary details, making check‑in and setup quick and hassle‑free. The pitches are flat and thoughtfully equipped, each offering water, electric, and grey‑water drainage. Electricity is on a meter, but the rates are very reasonable—we used only £7 over four days without holding back on usage (heating was on gas). As an adult‑only site, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, which was very welcome. The grounds are open with minimal natural shelter, but even during Storm Dave, everything held up well with no visible issues. Cleanliness is clearly a priority here. The site is well maintained, and the toilet facilities are modern, spotless, and easily accessible. The free WIFI was accessible and reasonably fast, a welcome addition we didn't expect. Overall, this is one of the better sites we’ve stayed at, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

喜欢 Site clean and well presented. Pitch was level and clean with ample room for the caravan and car parking. Showers and toilet blocks were clean and well presented. Note site is built on a hillside and is not really disable friendly. We don't have young children but we could see the site was well facilitated for younger kids - swimming pool etc. Cannot comment on site shops / restaurant's etc as we did not use them due to poor reviews we had read online. Prices also appeared very steep.

不喜欢 Bit of a grumpy /borderline arrogant reception young lady, not the greatest of greetings. Water pressure was way too high causing damage to three of my hose fittings. Simply turning the tap down as suggested does not distract the fact the pressure would still be present, this just reduces the flow. MAC electric system is poor. Electric went off on our second day, took a couple of hours to resolve. Did not use all electric but refund has still yet to be received. although no issue to us some other people at site said they were confused on how it all worked. Too few elsan points, we had quite a walk to empty our toilet cassette, down and up a steep hill. Noisy road traffic all night as we were pitched near the main road. Privacy issue with static bedroom window looking directly into our pitched van. We were unable to access the arcade areas etc. as there did not appear to be disabled parking and access. Too steep to use a wheelchair from where we were pitched and stone / gravel access from top car park, again not wheelchair friendly. Roads leading to / from the site can be narrow and tricky to get through as we found when encountering a HGV in Dawlish Warren (not the sites fault but one to consider if you are new to towing).

喜欢 Clean and well presented site. Friendly people. Toilets modern and clean, always hot water available. Hard core pitches that are level. Fully serviced. Generous £5 per night electric included (we only used £15 in a week and we are quite heavy users of the electric). Close to Skegness (5 mins in a car). 3rd time at site, will be returning.

喜欢 Huge pitches that are flat. Easy access to caravan / tent area.

不喜欢 We booked a hard standing fully serviced pitch but ended up on grass. Rules were not enforced i.e ball games being played etc. Toilets were not sufficient for the amount of campers. Only 2 in block 1 working and 4 in the other block.

喜欢 Flat well presented pitches. Excellent water and drainage on the pitch. Toilets and shower areas clean and working. Bit noisy as close to the main road however you soon get used to this and it did not cause any loss of sleep.

不喜欢 Not a site issue but the last night there were a lot of new caravans / campervans with dogs and it seemed like everyone barked all night. People need to control their animals when on sites.

喜欢 Second stay at Ashton Hall. Very quiet site. Pitches are on a slope but not too severe to get you caravan level. All fully serviced pitches. Will stay again when the area. No WIFI hence only one star.

喜欢 Stayed on the fully serviced POD pitch for 1 week. Excellent base for the Brean and Burnham area. Western Super Mare is a just a stones throw away as well. Pitch was excellent, level and hardstanding. Came with a POD with storage, toilet facilities and shower which was a god send given the mobility of us both. Site staff were welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Site appeared to be mainly seasonal caravans from what we could see. All we spoke to were also welcoming. Would we return, definitely when we tour the area next time. Couple of hints / suggestions (and in no way criticisms) - 1. Shower area in POD would benefit a shelf to put shower gels, shampoo etc. on 2. Area has poor mobile data reception. Boosters do help however be aware when it is busy the bandwidth struggles. If you are an internet / app junky you will not be happy. 3. Site internet is OK but again not very fast / completely reliable. Better than the mobile network but I would only recommend if you really have to have the internet (you are on holiday, forget the World and enjoy yourselves). 4. Approach site through Burnham / Brean (J22 M5) - other routes will take you through narrow roads - not great for caravans All together a great quiet and clean site, friendly and welcoming and we look forward to staying again in the future. 喜欢 Very clean site, people who run the site were great and helpful from check in, during our stay and departure. Positives for us were the fabulous views, good clean facilities and access.

不喜欢 Although the site is on a hill every pitch is sideways uneven despite them being laid out. Very noisy from the A55 and trains (although we were aware of the location at the stage of booking and not really the sites fault but it was louder than we expected). Site encourages pit fires, in fact supplies the logs and the pit. I understand these for camping but not really for caravanning. Caused all our clothes to stink of smoke and my wife struggled with her asthma so we had to close all windows and doors (on hot days) to try and keep the smoke out. Not really a site issue but despite the written rules ball games were going on everywhere (including our caravan being the back of a goal with the amount of ball hits we took). Also the sun sets were brilliant however it resulted in our pitch being invaded every night by everyone trying to get a picture. My thanks to only one lady and her child who requested and my dismay to all the others who clearly disrespected our space. Very overpriced (yes we paid the price but were disappointed). You can get better sites (in terms of facilities provided) and as good, if not better views for a cheaper price elsewhere.

喜欢 Club was well laid out and good entertainment. Shop was excellent and good value. Pitches were a good size. You may need a very long hose on a fully serviced pitch as taps can be 15 - 20 metres away. Lots of stuff for kids to do (we didn’t have any kids but could see the kids on site enjoying themselves). Laundrette was excellent and reasonably good value. Location was good (for us).

不喜欢 If pitched near toilet block (fully serviced pitches) be prepared for constant door slamming keeping you awake to the early hours. Site staff cleaning the toilet blocks were noisy slamming doors, constantly on their mobiles talking very loudly, and generally were miserable, where as all other staff (bar, entertainment, shop etc) were very polite and happy. Toilet flushes were not good, most toilets were bunged up with toilet roll. Flushes didn’t appear sufficient to clear the bowls. Showers, in men’s, were very low pressure and, in my opinion, not that good. Fully serviced for 2 people in a tourer were overpriced.
