喜欢 Nice flat pitch breaking the journey back home from Devon. Very relaxed with good sized pitches. Lovely lady who ran the site who was very friendly. Nice little cafe for a bacon buttie to start your day.

喜欢 Friendly staff very helpful. Good facilities. It was a very busy time of the year for the site but the staff always had time for you. I enjoyed the bar and entertainment on offer. We had a good evening listening to the singer who sang a good range of songs. Food was good from the snack shack especially the pizzas. The toilet block was cleaned regularly however at such a busy time you can forgive them if at times it wasn't continually spotless but it was always adequate in my opinion. Despite a sites best efforts you will always get some who cant be respecful and leave things leave as they found them. Be aware that at this time of year (August) it's not going to peace and quiet. This is a family site with children and families enjoying themselves however everybody respected the 10pm rule regarding noise. I had no trouble sleeping.

不喜欢 The pitches are to close together but it's a minor criticism.

喜欢 Lovely views with Holmfirth just 10 mins away. Go outdoors which is now on a retail park is only 20 mins away if you need anything. Subway and Greggs is also on the same site. It is not on New street as Google first suggest. It is on Leeds Road Huddersfield. Site was well equipped as listed on Pitch Up. Everything was spotless regards toilet and showers. Pitch was nice and flat. Nice gentleman welcomed us and told us all we needed to know. Depending on where you pitch you may need plenty of cable for electric hook up. Worth checking before you pitch up so you can have your tent nearer the hook up point. We have 15metre and it was just enough.

喜欢 It was nice and quiet with lovely scenery. The owners are extremely welcoming giving us the lowdown on what is near in terms of things to do including pubs and restaurants. They have chemical disposal and toilets. We both enjoyed our stay and will be back. Plenty of walks if you enjoy that and it was very peaceful.

不喜欢 There is nothing to dislike really. Any amenities they don't have is clearly listed so you won't be disappointed when you arrive.

喜欢 Lovely quiet site. Nice flat pitch with good clean amenities. Friendly service and nice surroundings in terms of countryside. The site is fully equipped with all the amenities you will need. Plenty of trails to explore from easy to more strenuous. Near to the village of Ashbourne so you can stock up on supplies for longer stays.

不喜欢 Nothing to dislike.
