喜欢 We given warm welcome from the owners and Lou (the boss!) came over once we were pitched up to see if we had any questions and to let us know about local walks etc. The site is lovely and green, with great views over the paddocks and Malvern Hills. There are stables right next door and if you are lucky you will get to see the horses being exercised by their owners. There are 5 Grass pitches all with electric hook ups and two fresh water points in the field. There is one hard standing pitch but we prefer to be on grass where ever possible. We got to experience a beautiful sunset over the hills and as the evening skys were clear as there is very little light pollution the stars were everywhere. We were even treated to the owls in the oak tree above our van. Sunday morning we woke to the church bells ringing which a lovely way to wake up. This a great spot if you are thinking of exploring the Malverns. We will 100% be back. There will be a vlog on YouTube so follow us on “maxwellbrothersgone touring”

喜欢 Great site close to the water, relaxed but well organised site. Good room on the pitches, friendly staff. Toilet block and shower facilities kept clean. Water points and rubbish points were easy to find.

不喜欢 The campsite can’t help it and I’m sure the weather didn’t help, but we all got eaten alive by mosquitoes. This was the main issue in the evening.

喜欢 Easy to get to location, nice pitches, very quiet. Lots to do in the area.

不喜欢 Only two showers in men’s, which was fine when I was there but could imagine this being a problem if we’re had been busier.

不喜欢 Very dark at night and tricky to see if you need to find the water. 100% make sure you have a torch

喜欢 Great Setting and very peaceful, polite staff, great for walks and nature lovers. Bench on our pitch was a nice touch

不喜欢 Mobile reception was not great, but you expect that in the middle of the woods

喜欢 The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Pitches were of great size. The toilet and shower block were perfectly clean at all times. Lovely walks around the area.

不喜欢 Not that much that can be done about phone signal when out in the countryside. There is WiFi on the site for casual internet browsing of the internet. Not strong enough for streaming but that’s also not a massive issue when on hols. I was disappointed that in this day and age that you have to pay for WiFi, seems an unnecessary cost and really should be included in the pitch cost.

喜欢 Loved how open it was, wonderful lake and good amenities for when the weather was poor. There was a large events marquee which wasn’t being used and as it didn’t stop raining from the moment we got there we thought we would ask if we could use it. The lady at reception said it was fine so it meant that our two parties could come together for for the evening without recking the inside of our small tent.

不喜欢 The washing sinks out side were block and full of waste water ( but this was cleared very quickly)
