喜欢 Very quiet location. Not at all busy, in fact we were the only people there. Owners very friendly. Toilet very clean and well maintained. Good base for exploring surrounding attractions, but you do need your own transport. No frills, but just what we were after.

喜欢 The owners were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Fully serviced hard standing and grass pitches were level with a nice view of the lake. Very dog friendly. Pub food was excellent, very good selection. Although not advertised as having showers and toilets, the old facilities are still available for use, which was an unexpected bonus, but they are very basic. It will be lovely when it's finished.

不喜欢 Elsan facilities are very basic, but hopefully on the list for improvement.

喜欢 Being able to choose your own pitch, which have no set boundaries. Water is close to all pitches. Small dog exercise area where the dog can be off lead. Toilets were clean. Liked the lack of check in and check out times. Friendly owners.

不喜欢 As the site is at the junction of two roads there is quite a lot of road noise and the B road is quite busy.

喜欢 Good sized pitch. Pitches weren't allocated, so it was nice to pick our own. Lovely farm shop. We didn't visit the cafe, but it was nice having that option. Loved looking at the goats, donkeys, pigs and cows. Toilets were a bit dated, but clean. Owners were very friendly. We probably wouldn't stay again, but will definitely come back to visit the shop and cafe. Very reasonably priced.

不喜欢 Not really a criticism, but because this is a working farm there was quite a lot of noise from a radio and generators coming from the cow shed. There was also a strong fishy smell when we arrived. This later turned into a more normal farmyard smell, which was ok.

喜欢 Nice level pitches, owners very friendly and helpful, toilets and showers very clean, water points fairly close, good value for money, lovely pub in walking distance through the wood, lots of places to visit nearby.

不喜欢 Very slight traffic noise from the road, as others have said the showers are compact, but on the plus side they are well maintained and the water was hot.

喜欢 Another lovely stay at this site. Pitches are a good size, although the pitch we were on sloped a little but nothing that couldn't be fixed by levelling. Nice dog exercise area and woodland walk. Lovely views.

不喜欢 The only negative was the noise of the grass cutting, which went on all day and into the early evening. But of course they have to do it, so it's understandable, but maybe they could knock off a bit earlier.

喜欢 Adult only, large dog exercise field, very clean shower/toilet, nice views, quiet, very helpful and friendly owner, good location, level pitches.

不喜欢 Our pitch was next to the facilities, which made it a bit smaller than others, also a little smelly when someone was emptying their cassette. But it was a lovely pitch otherwise.

喜欢 Level pitch, small site so all pitches are not too far from the facilities, enclosed dog area (although very small). Would try another site in the area if we went back, but wouldn't rule out going back there again.

不喜欢 No men's shower, on website bistro said it was open Friday evenings, but that is no longer the case, toilets a bit dated.

来自经理: I'm thankful you took the time to rate our site, it helps us improve every year and we love to see how we can make everyone's stay here better, but for future refence the men's showers are located in the same building as the men's toilets, they are next to each other. 4 cubicles side by side, 2 are toilets and 2 are showers. Regarding opening hours of cafe and restaurant they are seasonal based. I hope you can appreciate that during non peak months we adjust our hours to help keep cost down for customers. 喜欢 Relaxed atmosphere. Reception was closed when we arrived, but the notice on the door gave our pitch number. If we hadn't have gone to ask where to put grey waste we wouldn't have seen the owners at all. There was a lovely dog exercise area that wasn't mentioned in the details. The toilets were nice and clean, didn't try the showers, so can't comment on those. Good size pitches. Good 4g signal on 02 and TV signal. Didn't try the WiFi.

喜欢 Fairly level pitches, although our friends had to use levellers for their motorhome. Loved the rheas, geese and ducks. Nice quiet site, very friendly owners. Several water taps around the site, so never far away. Free WiFi, although seemed a bit patchy in the evenings.

不喜欢 Toilet bowls could do with a good clean with bleach.

喜欢 Fantastic location for exploring the moors, just a short walk up the road to the nearest tor. Dog friendly, with poo bags by the exits if you've forgotten to take one with you. Restaurant has a very varied selection of good quality meals. Liked the wildlife information boards and local maps around the site. We were in the walled garden where there were hedges between the pitches to give a sense of privacy. Toilets and showers were very clean.

不喜欢 Showers were only luke warm.

喜欢 Adults only, very dog friendly. Lovely exercise field for dogs with a few pieces of agility equipment. Nice and quiet. They only use every other pitch, so plenty of space between them. Good location for exploring Exmoor and the coast. Pitches were lovely and level.

Peace and quiet is what we love and we know our guests like too. We are in the best location, rural yet just 20 minutes drive to the coast, towns and just a 5 minutes drive and you're on Exmoor. 喜欢 Lovely peaceful location, just what we were looking for. Norma came round twice a day to make sure everyone was happy. Good location for visiting Bodmin moor, plus both north and south coasts. We braved the nature trail, but be warned you do need sturdy, waterproof boots. Plenty of space between pitches, which you can use as you wish, i.e. face your caravan whichever way you like. Pizzas and pasties are available on request and there is BBQ equipment available for hire if you don't have your own.
