Rosetta Holiday Park in Peebles in the Scottish Borders has been named by Pitchup.com as its top-selling site in Scotland for 2014.
The figures, compiled from Pitchup.com’s bookings for 1,050 camping and caravan sites throughout the UK and Europe, show Rosetta Holiday Park led the way for visitors in 2014, bringing an impressive 293 bookings to the country between January and December 2014. The figure far outshines its nearest competitor by 58%.
Dan Yates, founder of outdoor accommodation specialist Pitchup.com, commented: “We have some amazing sites in Scotland, which attracted 1.3m searches on our site in 2014, so it is a real achievement to be the top seller for the entire country on Pitchup.com. There are a number of factors which I think enables them to sell so many holidays including the fact they encourage families, pets and are located in an area which offers magnificent angling. The site also offers excellent value for money.”
Rosetta Holiday Park is located in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian mansion. The site is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities with salmon fishing on the River Tweed and 50 miles of mountain bike trails at nearby Glentress Forest. There is also a bar and restaurant on site along with a children’s playground, food shop, launderette and café.
