Jump in the carriage for a regal stay at Camping Cambrils Caban, a family-friendly site 10 minutes from the seaside town of Cambrils and 20 minutes from the Catalonia port city of Tarragona. You'll feel like kings, queens, princesses and princelings here, with plenty easily to hand that’ll keep you busy, entertained and well looked after: there’s a playground for the kids, football, basketball and ping pong for the sporty (and a projector so footie fans don’t miss any games), pétanque for a taste of local pastimes and two swimming pools for afternoon dips. When food is beckoning, there’s no need to travel too far – there’s a bar-restaurant next to the pool for quick snacks, welcome ice creams, refreshing cocktails and sit-down meals, and an on-site supermarket should have everything needed for evening barbecues. There’s so much to do on site it’d be easy to never leave, but be sure not to miss out on this gorgeous part of Spain. Rent bikes on site for breezy cycles along the coast, or stay close to base with trips into the UNESCO-listed city of Tarragona for history, shops and thrills at theme parks and waterparks. 喜欢 Good location for beach and seeing Cambrils…

不喜欢 Unfortunately my shower was cold in the block next to reception, i have been to many places in Spain and France and this was the first time I’ve had a cold shower.. disappointed..
Also there seemed to be a lot of general items which people had discarded on the ground on the pitches.. clothing, a towel, and even a pair of men’s pants!!
It seemed like id come at the end of a busy season and they had run out of steam to keep the place nice…
Also i went for a swim at the pool and found it closing at 5pm!! A bit early.. i think.
I was camped next to some very nice Dutch people and i found the site quiet at night. The pitches were tight to get onto but they were well shaded with small trees.

喜欢 It’s a short walk to the beach and a few bars and restaurants.
Electric hook up is easy to locate.
It has good lighting around the pitches for the darkness.

不喜欢 Pitches are very close together, they are not very flat, the trees are in the pitches, making it difficult to park, the road to the pitches is very narrow, the toilets and showers are dated.
We stayed on a Monday, the bar and restaurant was closed.

不喜欢 nos dieron una parcela por la que no entraba ni la furgoneta. pasábamos rayando todo el techo por que los árboles eran muy bajos. porque estaba vacía pero si hubiese estado lleno veo muy difícil aparcar en las parcelas porque aunque el tamaño sea grande no tienes espacio para meterla por las ramas de los árboles... bastante decepcionante eso. a parte, en el planning ponía que uno de los días habia a las 17h waterpolo en la piscina y allí no se hizo ni dijo nadie nada...

What’s a sunny getaway without a splashing time at the beach? There’s a fab sandy stretch of the Costa Dorada five minutes’ drive (a 10-minute walk) from the site for strolls, sandcastles and swims, and a watersports centre is 10 minutes away for getting out in the water to give paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and windsurfing a go. To get to grips with everything below the waves, try the diving centre within 10 minutes of base, or keep the watery activities altogether more controlled with an afternoon (or a whole day) 15 minutes away at Aquopolis waterpark. If that's got the kids screaming for more, never fear: PortAventura World is near. The whole family can get adrenaline spiking on theme park rides, cool off in the waterpark, or (and?) live out car racing dreams at Ferrari Land, less than 15 minutes from the site. Something for the grownups? A full explore of the coastal towns and villages comes highly recommended, with a stop at Tarragona for a cute Old Town, lots of UNESCO sites, stellar museums and plenty of shopping an absolute must. Not ready to head home? Celebrate a successful holiday with a tour of the dozen or so vineyards and wineries within an hour.
