喜欢: Views, swimming pool, restaurant and the site facilities. Staff are super friendly, my son and I were made very welcome. The staff 9speak better English than my Portuguese.

喜欢: The scenery and tranquility were lovely. Good 3 course meals were available twice a week and warm snacks could be picked up from the bar to take away at other times. However alternatively, there is a nice restaurant ‚ Quinta Fonte dos Namorados’ just 10 min drive on the N17 (Melo, 6290-151 Gouveia) serving delicious food (closed on Tuesday). Large pitches and plenty of space. Staff was friendly and very helpful. There is a pool but was not open as yet.

不喜欢: Although sanitary facilities were adequate they would however benefit from modernisation. There are no restaurants or shopping facilities in the small village. So come prepared.

不喜欢: The swimming pool was not filled and ready as was advertised the site looked tired and area not much to do. We left early as was not happy with the sute. Disappointed

喜欢: An excellent and very friendly site. Petra and Setha were really helpful, and their wine is great. Sadly we only managed a couple of nights before the weather forced us to move on, but we’d go back

喜欢: Literally everything about this campsite was perfect. Great facilities, clean toilets and showers, friendly staff and a fantastic swimming pool. Sunset view from the garden was sublime. Definitely recommend to anyone! Thanks!!!

喜欢: Todo. Es un lugar precioso donde se puede desconectar, por las noches se ven las estrellas es impresionante. Hay un montón de sitio para acampar, etc. Los baños tienen papel y están limpios, duchas normalízala pero limpias. Tienen lugar para cocinar si no llevas camping gas (hay que pagarlo, lo único), también tienen barbacoa y tienen restaurante. La piscina es chulisima. Para lo que pagas está fenomenal. A 10 minutos en coche, más o menos, hay un súper. En el establecimiento venden pan y fruta, tienes que reservarlo un día antes. Nos lo pasamos genial, si volvemos a Portugal seguro que volvemos a este camping.

喜欢: Absolutely brilliant site set in beautiful countryside. The stars at night are amazing. Came for one night staying longer. The staff really friendly, the pool and bar perfect. The pitches are set out on terraces so it feels as you’ve got lots of space. Would definitely recommend.

喜欢: Met some good people at the site. The showers and toilet facilities worked and were clean. Bar was readliy available and glasses were taken from the freezer. A hard stand available for my motorcycle.

不喜欢: The lady on reception was most unhelpful, to the point of unlikeable. She said she did not take debit / credit cards, despite a card machine being on display on the desk behind her and told us to go to a cash point 6km away (we were on motorcycles in close to 35 degree heat and did not know the area). Some businesses do not accept non Portuguese cards due to charges, but no were not offered the chance to even pay a surcharge. We were told everything during our stay would have to be paid in cash. She also questioned why I paid a deposit through PitchUp to book a place, instead of just turning up ! We said we wanted an evening meal upon arrival at 3pm and she understood, asking if we wanted "meat or fish" but did not pass the message on to the kitchen and no food was ordered for meal time. Luckily the kitchen people manage to rustle something up, and pulled out the stops. The ground to place the tent was was very difficult to get pegs into, not just dry, but with aggregate below the pitch.
