Beach day on a gorgeous stretch of sand, then back to base for a quick refresh before your sundowners on site? It’s safe to say that Camping Ali Baba has those chilled-out family days down to a tee. Look beyond the olive groves that form the immediate surrounds of this lovely Liguria hillside stay and you’ll note the big blue twinkling away not too far in the distance (see pics for evidence). If you want a closer look, it’s a five-minute drive to central Ceriale (or a half-hour walk if you’re feeling guilty about that last slice of pizza) for lazy beach times and equally lazy times spent lingering over a long lunch in one of the restaurants. Active types anxiously tapping a foot at the idea of so much sitting still? Fear not – you’re well catered for here too: a four-kilometre trail starts five minutes away for folks who fancy a jog or walk. A waterpark and tennis club are within a five-minute drive, and there are plenty of watersports in town, including scuba diving and windsurfing. However you seek to spend your days, back on site there’s a swimming pool with plenty of space on the sun terrace for (yet more) relaxing while the bambini frolic in the paddling pool or playground, and a pétanque court for settling family competitions.

喜欢 Gostamos muito da estrutura, tudo muito limpo e organizado. A localização é ótima, fora no agito da cidade, mas ao mesmo tempo perto.
Amamos estar no meio das oliveiras e tivemos ótimos momentos com outros campistas.

不喜欢 Ficou faltando uma informação no pitchup que não pode ser feita a entrada entre 13h e 15h. Chegamos às 13h30 e não foi possível entrar, foi necessário aguardar após as 15h

喜欢 Sehr netter Chef und Personal. Toiletten und Duschen zwar etwas älter aber super sauber. Super Pool oben auf Berg mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Erfahrung

不喜欢 Grauwasser für Wohnmobil nur über Schlauch, keine Grube. Strom und Frischwasser vorhanden.

喜欢 The owner Livio was a super host and could not do enough for us. Pizzas and Farinata were superb. It’s a bit of walk to the beach where you can rent a bad from the lovely locals.
We loved our 5 nights and will be back.
Just to note it’s an older site with a lot of chalets but the residents are so friendly and helpful. Really nice pool and bar. Highly recommended

It’s perfectly possible, of course, to combine a bit of beach and a bit of activity – Ceriale’s a super spot for that, as its seafront has windsurf kit for hire and several dive centres that can take you out for scuba and snorkelling trips. If you prefer pool action, scoot along to Le Caravelle waterpark (five minutes’ drive) to zoom down the waterslides and splash in the wave pool. Leaving Ceriale behind, day trip options might include a tour of the Toirano caves (15 minutes’ drive) or a meander around the medieval village of Zuccarello (20 minutes) and its ancient castle. Porto di Andora (half an hour) is the place to board boat trips in search of whales in the waters of the surrounding cetacean sanctuary. If you’re unlucky with the sea-creature sightings, plot a course instead for Genoa (an hour and 15 minutes), where there’s a huge aquarium hosting more than 12,000 water beasties. The city’s also home to a fab collection of museums and a pretty historic centre that’s well worth a wander.
