喜欢 Great for location to Calais. Showers and toilets clean

不喜欢 Not many amenities close by. Nowhere to get food when we arrived. Campsite next door had a lovely restaurant but wouldn’t let us eat there despite not being full. Maybe it would’ve been a better option to stay there. Also many people live on the site.

喜欢 Loved how close to Calais it was without being too noisy or busy. 35 min drive to Calais was a breeze!

Loved free WiFi, was actually decent WiFi too.

Loved how friendly the manager was!

For around £10 a night there is absolutely nothing I can grumble or complain about.

Just take your own toilet paper and hand soap.

不喜欢 No soap or toilet paper in the Loos.
Specifically booked this site as advertised there was a bar & snack bar. Neither were open. The weather was really bad but had nowhere to go & nothing to do. Some went on to another site as was so disappointed. I was leaving early the next day or i would have left too.

We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.

Toilet paper is available from reception during opening hours. As for shower gel or soap, we do not provide these amenities, which is quite uncommon in campsites, especially on a two-star site.

The bar and snack bar are open on Fridays and Saturdays during the mid-season, and from Tuesday to Sunday during the high season, between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. There was indeed an error on our Pitchup page regarding this information, and we apologise for that.

The weather was particularly bad during your stay, and we completely understand your frustration. We did our best to adapt to the situation by opening two mobile homes so that campers could stay warm and have access to a kitchen, lounge area and showers. We also welcomed some guests a night earlier than planned (which I believe was the case for you) and offered a goodwill gesture to those who were able to find an earlier ferry crossing.

Unfortunately, there is only so much we can do in such exceptional weather conditions, but we genuinely tried to help everyone as much as possible.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back one day, under sunnier skies and enjoying a drink on the snack bar terrace.

喜欢 Fred, the owner. Very chatty and welcoming and helpful with advice for places to visit.
The bar was well stocked and with a good atmosphere.
The whole campsite had a friendly air.

不喜欢 The pitch had lots of holes and bumps in it.
The washing facilities were clean but basic. No soap or toilet paper.

喜欢 Lovely site only half an hour drive to Le Shuttle and such a lovely drive this morning. Lovely friendly owners, even replaced my drink when I accidentally spilt it 💕 overall a very friendly environment and would defo come back 👍

We already have 12 cold water points throughout the campsite and, following your feedback, we have added two more close to the sanitary facilities. As for toilet paper, it is available at reception, and we will be putting up a sign to make this clearer for our guests. We are always looking for ways to improve the comfort of our campers.
