喜欢 Condom is a hidden gem, very pretty & well preserved with some lovely cafes and restaurants and a smashing municipal pool/lido 5 minutes walk from the campsite (not heated and no sun beds - take towels and a picnic blanket or camping chairs). There’s a Lidl and a huge bakery a 2 minute drive away and a couple of greengrocers, butchers and bakeries in the town centre.
We ate at the gorgeous restaurant that backs onto the campsite and overlooks the most picturesque lock on the river; they have a kitchen garden and chatty chickens you can hear across the campsite. I can highly recommend the food; we ate possibly the best meal in France that we’ve had for years, 3 courses for €30 and €20 for wine. Absolute bargain.
The campsite is fantastic; a lovely, friendly couple run it and are extremely helpful as well as speaking fluent English. The pitches are private and a good size, very green and shady across the site. Water taps are a 10 second walk from every pitch. The showers, loos and separate sinks are immaculate, as is the laundry room and washing up room.
It’s a small site but tidy and well taken care of and only a 15 minute meander along a shady riverside path into the small town centre. We stayed 2 nights as a stopover on the way to the south coast, and we wished we’d stayed another night.

The little water park next door was superb and free access for anyone staying at the campsite - only a 5 min walk.
Quiet and lovely big pitches under trees

Great location to explore the city with a lovely riverside walk - 20mins

喜欢 Very friendly and helpful welcome, a good generous pitch size, excellent facilities and a good location. Very quiet but close to the town and supermarket. Also within easy walking distance to a nice little restaurant, Moulin de Petit Gascon!

喜欢 Friendly, good showers, nice walk into city, large pitch with 10a electric, boulangerie on site each morning, very cheap only £15 per night (camper van and 2 adults).
Nice looking restaurant a couple of minutes walk from site. Didn't try it but looked good.

不喜欢 There was toilet roll provided but the dispenser was outside the stalls. Had to remember or take your own!
