For a peaceful lakeside park, family-friendly Camping Sous Le Moulin is a sterling spot: settled on the shores of Lac de Coiselet next to the village of Condes, and surrounded by the spectacularly scenic mountains of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park. The entire park lies on the shores of the lake, and has plenty of pitches that look out directly over the water for views of the mountains that encircle the site. Water-based activities abound and include boating, windsurfing, waterskiing and canoeing. There's also some first-rate fishing to be had in the lake, which is stocked with pike, perch, carp and trout; the nearby Ain, Bienne and Valouse rivers are also brimming with fine fishy specimens. Site staff recommend remaining on land at least some of the time so that you can try out the 18-kilometre circuit around the lake, or bike along the marked cycling routes that tour the gorges and viaducts that lie along the Ain. Other stuff to keep you and the kids entertained include a big playground and a pétanque court, and you can pick up a newspaper on site to relax with at the water's edge along with a breakfast of fresh baguettes delivered direct to your pitch. For food off site a supermarket lies three kilometres down the road, and a selection of restaurants are within 15 minutes' drive in the cultural hub of Oyonnax.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce camping !

Un gros point positif pour nous : les chiens sont vraiment les bienvenus, même au restaurant, ce qui est très appréciable. Toute l’équipe est agréable, accueillante, à l’écoute et sait s’adapter aux besoins de chacun.

🍽️ Le restaurant est un vrai régal, nous nous sommes régalés !

🏡 Le mobil-home était correct dans l’ensemble. Le seul petit bémol concerne la literie, qui pourrait être améliorée.

🌿 La situation géographique est parfaite : de très beaux paysages et de nombreuses activités à proximité, notamment les randonnées, les courses et différentes activités de loisirs.

🛶 Le canoë était vraiment top, nous avons adoré !

Un séjour très agréable, avec un accueil chaleureux et un cadre magnifique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

喜欢 Nice views of lake.

Helpful reception staff helped sort a frying pan and were very accommodating.

不喜欢 Toilet blocks weren’t the cleanest but the camp was rammed so would have been hard to maintain.

Pool was very small for the size of the camp

喜欢 Beautiful views. Lovely restaurant with great food and friendly staff. Self service kayak hire on site. Kids loved the swimming pool.

不喜欢 Organisation emplacement pas de limite tous l'un sur l'autre piscine ne correspond pas à la photo très petite pour ce déplacer obligé d avoir voiture pour boire un verre pas possible réservé au restaurant wc et douche pas assez pour le nombre de emplacement nettoyage zéro

Pas mal de choses à faire autour

Nuits très fraîches et idéales en temps de forte chaleur.

不喜欢 Ce camping n est pas fait pour les gens qui veulent se reposer !
Il n y a aucun respect des autres !!
Du bruit jusqu à minuit, une heure du matin voir plus !
Des gens qui rentrent du restaurant du camping a 23h passé et qui croient être seuls en allumant les horribles lumières des terrasses de mobil-home qui éclaire tout alentour et qui continuent de parler et rire super fort pendant que certains voudraient dormir!
Des voitures qui circulent dans le camping a 4h du matin !
Des gens qui font la fête et braillent jusqu a 2-3h du matin !!!
Bref trois nuits sans dormir beaucoup alors que le but était le repos et que des panneaux indiquent de respecter le calme après 22h30...
Nous avons tenté de faire la sieste en début d après midi pour rattraper les nuits blanches mais la journée c est encore pire ...

Camping Sous Le Moulin is in a spectacular countryside setting among the hills, forests and lakes of the Jura region, next to the village of Condes. Direct access to the lake means lots of water-based fun that includes boating, windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing and fishing for pike, perch, carp and trout, and as the cliffs overlooking the site are home to plenty of rare species including peregrine falcons, red kites, swans, grey heron and chamois, this a popular haunt for wildlife spotters and birdwatchers too. Outdoor activity options in the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park include hang-gliding and paragliding from Chancia-Montcusel, horse riding in Massiat, and canyoning and climbing trips a little further afield in Vevy – all you need to do is decide which one to do first. A short drive will bring you to cultural Oyonnax, where in addition to lots of respectable restaurants there are also cinemas and concert halls aplenty, plus a museum dedicated to the city's plastics heritage with exhibits that display plasticky pieces from all over the world. For a good mix of l'histoire and le spectacle, visit the ruins of Château d'Oliferne, just south of the site, where there's a 1.5-kilometre walk punctuated by historic monuments and views over the Ain valley, or the Cathedral and Brou Royal Monastery in Bourg-en-Bresse, a flamboyant Gothic masterpiece that comprises unusual monastic buildings, a church and three cloisters. The Cerdon Caves and prehistoric theme park, just over 40 minutes' drive away, are well worth a visit; kids can get involved in workshops that will teach them how to hunt with spears, paint on cave walls, craft Neolithic pots and create fire from flint while you explore a subterranean cave network that emerges onto a viewing platform that overlooks the vineyards of Cerdon.
